The notion that every single bad call by NFL refs is some form of incompetence is just laughable. There's way too much money involved with the NFL and gambling for all these terrible calls to be on the level.

Every single week of every single season fans across the country complain about how bad the refs are. And when someone floats the idea that maybe, just maybe, it's partially due to corruption instead of incompetence, the idea is dismissed out of hand.

There are people who actually believe pro-wrestling is real. Why? Because as fans, they want it to be true. I think the same psychological explanation prevents so many NFL fans from being unable to conclude what is so patently obvious: at least some of these terrible calls are on purpose.

I've never heard of a team winning in overtime on a safety!

Cameron Wake once again proving he is the best player on our team by a mile. It wasn't the best win but one that we needed going into the 2nd half of our season and next week @ Tampa Bay.

Some guys who I thought had a big game tonight

Lamar miller.

cam wake. the beast

Paul soliai. pay the man

brent grimes. playmaker

Ryan Tannehill . not a great night but not bad and no TURNOVERS

Whats up with our draft class ?

Nolan carroll out Patterson out and taylor and davis still cant sniff the field or beat out RJ Sanford

A struggling line and dallas Thomas been inactive all 8 games

What a win now we have Tampa Bay next

as awesome as it was ending that game on a safety, Im not sure how i feel about it cus id prefer tanny of led the game winning drive.

Some final thoughts

officiating was still pretty awful

at times sherman's play calling was horrible

philbin reminds me of how conservative The buckeyes old coach tressel was. I thought we should have went for it on 4th and inches on the 40 cus i thought the defense was just too gassed and asking them to stop cinci again was asking a bit much. I also thought he should have challenged the spot of the ball on that 4th down run by dalton. I didnt think he made it.

Defense needs to learn how to tackle

The good

Oline wasnt asked to pass block much and we ran the ball enough to keep defense honest and looked good doing it.

Defense played well and is the only reason we won that game. Good thing they get a long week to recoup after this tough one.

Tanny looked pretty good moving around pocket and made some nice throws

Lamar miller besides the fumble was a stud, hopefully we can keep him going. Needs to keep thomas on the sideline more.

Been saying for a couple seasons Soliai is more valuable to this defense than Starks. We need to resign him and extend Odrick.

Didn't see our #3 overall pick on the field very much Rolling Eyes

At least that deep ball to Wallace (the pass interference call) was right on target. Would've been a beautiful TD if not for the CB making a smart play IMO.
