According to Mortreport
Both of P. Manning's ankles are sprained, including a high right ankle sprain aggravated by Robert Mathis' 2nd sack. Pain killer for today.
High Ankle sprains are notoriously nagging and take a few weeks of rest to fully clear, if not more. I realize his position makes him less affected by it but if Orlando Franklin isn't playing today I feel like Brock should start. If Manning goes down so does our super bowl hopes. Maybe a trade for Joe Thomas is in order? |

Hopefully they heal up during the bye week. We are facing KC's pass rush twice after. |
