Golden Tate is still as arrogant as ever. Pete better rip into him because what he did is inexcusable. Have some [inappropriate/removed] respect, you're not as good as you think you are.

Tom Cable might be off of this team at the end of the year. If he can't sort this crap out, he should be.

I'm glad that I didn't stay up for this game. This team...

Sounded to me listening on the radio that the 'Hawks just didn't bring the intensity that they needed to. They played like a team who read their own press clippings and bought into their hype.

I'll give credit to the Rams for showing up and bringing everything they had to this game. They executed their game plan and did what they needed to do to win this game, except for actually win the game.

I'm not sure if I should blame the O-line for a [inappropriate/removed] poor performance or blame the coaching staff for not having those guys prepared for the outstanding talent of Quinn and Long. On top of the seeming lack of preparedness, there were no adjustments being made anywhere in the game. Maybe the coaching staff bought into too much of their own hype, too. Easily the worst coached game of the year. Expect every team the rest of the way to take this game as a blueprint to use against us. The coaches better figure out what happened fast and make changes.

Defense was not great, but man did they ever step up every time the Rams got down in scoring position, including a couple times when the Rams started drives already in great position.

Overall, a very disappointing win, but a win nonetheless. A few weeks ago, I said that our close win over Tennessee was a nice, solid win because sometimes you have to win ugly and not worry about anything else. Well, I'm going in the opposite direction today. This was a sorry performance, by the O-line, D-line, and coaching staff in general. They almost treated this game like a preseason game. At least they got lucky.

Yep. They were two or three plays that they would've housed without him. That end around sticks out vividly.

Am I the only one who thinks Earl is saying guys didn't prepare like they should've because they underestimated the Rams? That's kinda the impression I got watching the Titans game too.

Guys need to play like every game is their last. This is ticking me off

Seahawks LB Bruce Irvin

(On adjusting to his new linebacker position)
I had a good game, but then again, I feel like I could have done a lot of stuff better. I still have a long way to go, so had a good game but Im hard on myself so just have to get back next week and get better at what I dont think I did good at.

(On his interception)

I aint going to lie, Earl (Thomas) helped me out. He called the route out before he ran it so I was kind of alerted. We were working on the play all week and they ran it and I stepped up and made a play.

(On how much more comfortable he is at his new position now than when he started.)

Im much more comfortable. I have a great room, great coaches. These guys really help me out when I dont understand something. Its just all about getting the flow and repetition, Im a repetition guy and I have to keep doing it for it to really become second nature. I have eight more games and hopefully the best is still to come.

I got that impression as well. I got the feeling that ET was saying that players weren't committing to their responsibilities and trying to gamble when they shouldn't have.

I'll say it again: Somebody on the D needs to stand up and get everybody on the same page.

I thought that Bruce played good as well. He got beaten in coverage but for a guy who never dropped back in college, he's doing really well.

I don't think Cable is the problem. He can't make a masterpiece with doo doo. McQ is a joke at LT. Carp is a bust. Sweezy hasn't taken his game to the next level after Moffitt been traded. And Bowie is just terrible. When given players with some actual talent Cable can do pretty well. But next year this team needs to go back to back OL! Round 1 and 2. OT and OG/OT.

It isn't Cables fault our Tackles are band aids if anything Bevell should take a lot of heat he left Bowie on Long one on one for a majority of the game.

I don't think the play of our OL can be blamed on him really. However, I do think we can blame him for his inability to identify quality OL players in the draft. He, at this point, has no business being part of the draft process. They should hire someone to purely scout OL for us. It's gotten that bad.
