THE GOOD OL' DAYS,

BUT NOW IT'S

SHANATAN and RGIII

VS.

ELWAY and MANNING

Do the Broncos have enough horses on the O-line to protect PFM? Gotta have Franklin!!!

Can RGIII expose the Broncos defense?

Can the Redskin DB's cover our receivers?

Can the Broncos win the division if they drop this game?

This Bronco team doesn't seem so invincible anymore. This is an important game. The Chiefs have a third home game in a row against the freakin Browns. Their schedule stiffens in the latter half of the season so it is imperative the Broncos keep pace for now. What you all think????

As long as Woodyard is back, I think we're good. The D has been garbage since his disappearance and as soon as he comes back, the defense should be in pretty good shape. Von will shake off a lot of his rust too in this game in my opinion.

The biggest issue Denver has had in the past weeks is making boneheaded plays such as fumbles and penalties. This killed us and cost us the game against Indy. We were not doing that in the beginning of the season and that is why we steamrolled teams. We are doing that now like we did in the beginning of last season and now we are barely edging out teams and losing again.

RG3 is not really a QB, he is just an athlete, maybe it's because I can't stand how he is a media darling and beloved by everyone, but I really hope Denver sticks it to him. I hate the Washington Redskins in general because it always seems like they beat us, not to mention they got us in the Superbowl a long time ago. It is the same reason why I hate Ray Lewis and the Ravens.

I am really looking forward to the match-up of Jordan Reed vs Trevathan/Woodyard. We have clamped down on the mobile QB-running offense combo before when we played against the Eagles, but if Griffin can torch our secondary similar to the likes of Romo, Henne and Luck, we'll have a hard time playing good football again; especially if Kerrigan and Orakpo (oh, how I wish we would have taken him) are able to threaten Manning.

Thanks to Winder for stepping up and making this, hopefully you can get a new streak going for us.

Woodyard is probable to play so that's good news, however Franklin and Kuper are both questionable as Kuper's problematic left ankle is bothering him again. Bet we see Justice at RT this week.

I'm curious to see if we use more two TE and other protection packages rather than our 3 WR set. Last week Gase seemed pretty stubborn sticking with what wasn't working and letting PM take a beating.

Something very McDanielsesque about that approach.

What about John Moffitt at RG and Vasquez at RT?

Moffitt has longer in the system.

Vasquez and Justice give us better pass protection.

I can see Shanny out coaching us and RG3 killing our D

Washington 37-28 Denver

Denver scoring only 28 against the NFL's 30th ranked defense? Yeah.. don't see it.

Something I've been thinking about.. I hear that Peyton was banged up after the Jacksonville game, and I think that may have impacted his ability to plant and throw. That would explain the incessant wounded ducks & inaccurate throws. Peyton doesn't have a strong arm in the first place, so I think it was a real problem. That obviously isn't an excuse for the lack of adjustments, but it explains why his throws looked so weak.

Mortensen reporting that Manning has two sprained ankles, including a high right ankle sprain. Apparently he did it on that low shot by Jason Babin early in the Jags game. Explains the poor deep balls ... (Can't plant).

Now would be a very good time for the run game to run for 150+.

If we get a big lead going into the 4th for the love of god Fox take PFM out.

Yeah definitely. Manning is the one player we can't afford to lose, but even if he has to miss some regular season, I would like for him to be healthy later this year.
