Almost half way through the season so we have a good idea of potential upgrades. What are your top needs and big boards ?

I think..

Needs OL, OLB, TE, S/CB, DE

Big board Top 10 ( Assuming we don't loose out for Clowney)

OLB Anthony Barr
OT Jake Matthews
OT Taylor Lewan
OLB CJ Mosely
CB Bradley Roby
S Haha Clinton-Dix
OG Cyril Richardson
CB Louchiez Purifoy
OT Tiny Richardson
CB Jason Verrett

I don't know much about the players (yet) but position wise i would say it goes like this:

TE - could really add a new element to our offense
LG - Legursky is solid..but that is on his best day
OLB - Bradham and Moats aren't much to gloat about. Lawson now hurt.
S - Even if Bryd leaves were solid with Searcy/Williams/Leonard.
CB - Need depth. But i really like our potential top 4 of Gilmore,McKelvin, Brooks and Robey.

The only one I would be okay with us not resigning from the 2014 FAs is Alan Branch. Every other player should be resigned and are a vital part of this team.

Carrington and Bryd share the same agent..

Chandler, Branch and Dareus are a must IMO.

Ever since Abrederris just abused Roby, I can't get on board selecting him. I haven't seen CB Jason Verrett from TCU or CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu from Oregon.

Where do you see that Dareus is a FA in 2014? I thought he was a 2015 FA. Either way, we need to resign him ASAP.

I thought Dareus could be 2014 or 2015, depending on if the Bills activate the last year of his contract... or something... I don't remember the details. I could be completely wrong though.

I think we are in a position to take the best playmaker in round 1. We have needs, but they are not at places where you traditionally want to burn a 1st round pick. We need an OT, but a RT. I guess if we have an elite LT prospect on the board we could move Glenn to RT, but I would prefer not to. We need guard help. Despite how high some guards went in last years draft, I wouldn't touch one in the 1st round. We need help at LB, but we don't really need a 3 down backer. Kiko is that guy, we really need a 2 down thumper to pair with him.

I would seriously consider a playmaking TE. Theses guys are mismatches in a game that is about finding mismatches. I like Chandler but he is a terrible blocker and doesn't have the speed to stretch defenses. He would be better served as a #2 TE IMO.

I wouldn't Mind Taking a top LT and moving Cordy to LG. hen he came out he was seen more as a LG anyway.

I'm on board with either a Guard or Tackles. Also agree that we need a 2 down thumper alongside Alonso.

People say this all the time, but I'm skeptical. Cordy has been playing great at LT, and I don't think you force him to move and gamble on another rookie being able to play an important position so well just because everyone thought he should be a guard when he came out.

Quality guards and RTs tend to be easier and cheaper to find too, which only makes it a better value proposition to fill the holes at LG/RT directly.

Now of course it does all come down to who's available when you pick, and if a LT is far and away the best prospect on the board when it's your pick, I won't say we shouldn't consider drafting him.

I just wouldn't make the goal from the start.

I am really surprised with how many people want to, or would consider moving Cordy. Guy has been great there, why ruin it?

I agree with DK that we have needs not necessarily taken in the top of the 1st round, and with some of the talent, especially at QB that could be in this draft, I think it would be easier than normal to drop back and maybe select an OLB/G/RT later in the 1st.
