really really bad. Especially with the amount of injuries this team has had. But if this team finishes 8-8 or better, I wouldn't be shocked.

He will have one more year no matter what. This team has too many injuries in place, but a 2014 season that sees us losing in our first game of the playoffs or no even making the playoffs will see him gone(or TD gone). 7 years and 1 playoff win would be more than enough to let him go.

Do you mean or worse? I hope they wouldn't fire him if we have a winning season but keep him if we lose. Very Happy

But I agree with Devils. If we're still at one playoff win after the 2014 season, his employment needs to be reassessed.

I mean better. I could still see this season turning around and Atlanta going 9-7 or even 10-6.

I'm not saying that Smith would get fired. period.

Ah, gotcha. Agreed. Smitty stays no matter what happens, imo.

I think the defense, especially the linebackers have started to play a lot better. They get a bigger test this weekend for sure.

If we miss the playoffs this year, then he will be on notice next season. Highly doubt he will be fired even if we finish, say 4-12 this year. But next season, if we miss the playoffs or lose to our first opponent, he should be fired IMO.

I don't see him being fired unless we manage to lose every game from here on out. He'll definitely be on notice if we can't get close to .500 though. I basically see 6-10 as the cutoff point.

I think they should start having a discussion in the front office regarding all the coaches. Put feelers out on Cowher, Gruden, Les Miles, etc. Look at some long time assistants in Green Bay, Pittsburgh, New England, etc. The poor showing this year, playoffs last year and year before, should push AB into really taking a hard look at all his personnel.

Any opinion that includes jon gruden should automatically be ignored. Seriously.
