Gonna need Quarless to finally step up. Myles White will get more of a role as well. All of that combined with getting Lacy and even Franklin involved in the passing game a bit. A screen pass or two to one of them is certainly a possibility now. Could always get Jones back this week too.

Im just guessing but I think it was an internal power play.
some one above the Vikes head coach told him to play Freeman.

and his response was to let Freeman throw all those poor passes
instead of giving it to AP.

It's going to be scrappy, per usual. This team will not win a flashy game for quite some time, unless the defense forces multiple turnovers and scores a touchdown. I see something like 27-13 or so, but ultimately we control the game the whole way.

I'd argue Jordy is probably around the 30th-40th best receiver in the NFL, maybe 50th.

Good thing for talky-talk Harbaugh he has an outstanding citizen/player like Aldon Smith on his team and not a classless hooligan like Clay Matthews.

I think the game will be closer than most. I think we end up winning by double digits but I think it will be close for most of the game. I think the biggest key to the game is keeping the pass rush off of Rodgers. The Vikes pass rush hasn't been great all year but I think they will come to play this week. If we give Rodgers time it doesn't matter who we have at WR we should be able to complete passes at will. If Jones is back I expect a big day from Rodgers

This. They get their 2 yearly beat downs. It's how things should be. It matters not what week of the season it is.

If true - once Frazier takes the fall for everything - he will have the following phrases attached to his name when looking for a job.
-poor gameplanning
-can't develop qb's
-mismanages players
Good luck with that. I could care less as I tend to not stick my nose in other teams business on here, but what a purple and gold trainwreck they got going on over there.

If the Vikings have any real intentions on winning next week, they'll start Ponder or Cassell. Freeman showed yesterday that he clearly isn't ready yet which was to be expected.

I think Frazier and Spielman are at odds when it comes to saving their jobs.

For Frazier to save his job he needs to win some games.
For Spielman to save his job he needs to find a quarterback.

Generally the GM wins in these sorts of power struggles.

The first few series the Vikes will be playing very hard. This is their Super Bowl. If we can ride this tide of emotion and not turn the ball over (or commit stupid penalties) we'll get out of town with another W.

This game should be pretty one sided if the Packers can tackle Adrian Peterson, but it seems we only do that in about 1/3 of the contests we play him, so we will see. The Vikings deep cover 2 shell has been a problem as of late for Rodgers, hopefully our running game will force them to scrap that this week.

These are the games that always freak me out. The games we should win we always find a way to get into a slugfest or even lose.

Let's not forget this is at the Metrodome and they still have Allen and Peterson. Its not like they are devoid of talent.
