FIFY
He's 11th all time in field goal%
You mean for the Saints right?
Nope. With kickers people always remember the misses and are quick to forget the makes.

He is 11th all time for all kickers ever playing in the NFL? Really?? Where did you get that from? Shocked

He has less than 100 FGAs in his career. All-Time FG % doesn't mean much at this point.

One of the annoucers during the Pats game said he was 8th all time, since he's having a bad season he's dropped to 11th. It's on profootball reference, and that's not even inlcuding extra points.

He's done enough to warrant keeping his starting job if he's 11th over a 5 year stretch.

Just looked up the season rankings for kickers in regular season. He has been the 20th in 2010, 22nd in 2012 and 15th in 2013. Just average, not good. And he is making the long field goals at a good rate, but many misses from 20-39 yards and those are the field goals you need to make! Still cheering for Brett Baer, currently a UDFA from Louisiana Lafayette. One of the most accurate kickers in NCAA history, making 42 of 47 field goals. Kicked a 58 yarder in 2012 and is from the area...

One defensive need that is kinda emerging is a ballhawk. Not really a starter per say but a defensive back that specializes in ball skills. All of our defender are bigtime but Ball Skills ballhawking ability is not any of their strong suit.

Man... Tyrann Mathieu would have done wonders to this unit.

I have a theory that Jenkins won't be back. So it wouldn't surprise me to see us go DB with our 1st rounder. And by DB, I mean CB.

So we may get out ball hawk after all.

Season by season rankings are deceiving because some of the guys ranked ahead of him probably kicked half as many field goals.

That was my argument for his All-Time FG % being so high... Confused He's kicked less than 100 FGs in his career. A decent # of the guys around his ranking on that list have kicked 200+
