So I'm the only one that sees the logic in what he said? He's saying you can't hit them up high anymore so you have to go for their knees and take out ACL's.

He's an idiot but he's an idiot with a point that's been made here before.

I took it the same as you. He was saying he would be tearing ACLs and ending careers because he's not allowed to hit high, not because he wanted to. I think he just worded it badly, but who knows with him

Theres nothing wrong with what he said at all. It's well known the only 2 ways to tackle are to launch your helmet at someones facemask or launch your helmet at their knee cap. The league says no helmet to helmet therefore you must aim for their knee.

Merriweather logic FTW Shocked

The only way out of the NFL, is with a jumbled brain or blown out ACLs.

if only people had a body part that seprated the neck and head from the knees. some sort of midsection between the two.

The worst part is, it's not even really if he's going high or low that is the problem.

The problem is he drops his head and uses his helmet as a weapon. Even if he does that in the mid section, that is dangerous both for him and who he's hitting and I consider that type of "tackling" dirty.

Keep your head up and see what you are hitting.

I agree with what he said, just not how he said it.

Conversely, he's hitting too high and leading with his head anyway. If he aims about a foot lower and keeps his head ip, he's hitting guys' chests in a safer (probably legal) manner.

Webmaster's reach is far beyond FF. I hope he learns his lesson. He was warned two times and still acted with malicious intent towards others, this behavior is not acceptable on this forum. We expect more from you, Meriweather

The problem is the "keeps his head up" bit. He seems to think that it's just because going high, and while that IS part of the problem, the fact that he leads with his helmet is just as big an issue.

When your embarrassingly bad at football it only makes sense to direct the attention elsewhere... The only thing Meriweather is capable of is cheap shots to get his name out there. He's an absolute scumbag that has no business in the NFL. I'm waiting to here a Skins fan come in here trying to defend him, I'll absolutely rip you a new one.

Except it's not a good point.

He was being obviously facetious. Not very tactful...but that's the point.

What he said about taking out player's knees is ridiculously messed up, unless he meant it in a tongue in cheek way, and even so shouldn't have been said.

What he said about Brandon Marshall holds a bit more validity considering BM15 would probably be in prison right now if he weren't rich/ ridiculously good at football. Dude has been arrested like 5 or 6 times.
