I've just always liked the Jets. Both of my parents are Giants fans, but for whatever reason I had a Jets bib when I was a baby. I started young haha. Football is actually the only sport in which my Dad and I have different teams. We are both Yankees, Rangers, and Knicks fans.

My dad was a tool but we had total opposites. Shocked

Him Giants, Yanks, Islanders, who cares...
Even in sports teams the guy beat me lol. Cool

My dad never followed sports at all. So I had to find my own way towards sports because I hated all my school friends talking about it and I didnt know what the hell they were talking about. So I watched a game one day and it happened to be a Jets game vs the cardinals in 96' Which was the only game we won during that Kotite led season been a die hard fan ever since!

It was absolutely random chance for me.

I was 10 years old at the time, and happened to catch the Jets-Ravens AFC championship game back in 2000. I just remember thinking how awesome the green and white jerseys looked, and I've been hooked ever since.

Before that point I was just a little bandwagoner like alot of young kids.

That said, I bleed pure green and white as much as any die-hard fan.

It literally ruins the crap out of my week when the Jets come out and flop on Sundays...

I think it was Denver. I was in college and kicked my TV after the game and put a hole in the TV.

You're right about the CG being against the Denver Broncos, but that was in 99.

So apparently the Ravens game I'm referring to was actually just the last game of the season; but there was a playoff berth on the line and we ended up losing.

Reminds me of what I did after the 04 championship game against the Steelers. Was like "that's how it's ******* done Doug brien". Pretty expensive tv too.

I was born into it.

My mom's side of the family is all from Long Island. My grandpa had season tickets to Shea Stadium back in the 60's.

When I was a baby, I had a onesie that said "I root for two teams: The Jets and whoever beats the Dolphins."

I never had a shot at being a fan of anybody else.

Damn. I was upset after that loss.

As weird as this is... The most upset I've ever been over a loss was the 2006 game vs the Browns were Chris Baker was pushed out of the endzone and they didn't call it and we lost the game. I cried my eyes out and I was trying to find out how to call the NFL to see if they could someone give the win to the Jets because the refs messed up Laughing Laughing Laughing

The second most upset I've ever been was when we took Wilkerson in the 1st Round. I don't think I've ever been more pissed off at a draft pick in my life Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Shows how much I know.

At first, I was a Broncos fan after watching them win the first Superbowl I have ever watched (parents finally allowed me to stay up), but my Dad quickly changed my mind. Wayne Chrebet became my idol and I grew an incredible hate for the Patriots. Things haven't changed since.

Too funny older Jet fans have it for the Dolphins. They can never fail enough for me.
The pats, I hate their fans, but the organization I am more jealous of than hate.

The most excited I've ever been was the Jets-Patriots game back in 2010 playoffs. By far it was my proudest day as a Jets fan. The most upsetting was the following week when we played the Steelers for the Championship Game. That first half still makes me so sick. Could have won the game if we weren't in such a hole in that first half.

So true. That was our Super Bowl. Took two and a half quarters to realize we were not in yet.
Before that game 1986 Cleveland Game was my lowest.
This game crushed that.
