@JasonLaCanfora: Bengals CB Leon Hall did in fact tear his Achilles, a season-ending injury.

absolute shame as he was playing fantastic this year. That is the opposite achilles he hurt prior.

Kirkpatrick better be ready to step up and play big as we need him badly to play well from here on out

Sucks. At least it happened early again, so he should be ready to go for September 2014.

Do we know if it was a full or partial tear yet? Partial could mean a Suggs like recovery.

I have to say it was partial, because he walked off. You just can't walk with a full tear. There's nothing there to move your foot...

I did pray hard that someone didn't get hurt up on that bloody carpet in DET. Obviously didn't pray hard enough.

Just hope Leon has a better career outlook than Kijana Carter and Kenny Irons ended up with.

I figured as much. A real bummer to an otherwise great Bengal Sunday. Hall improved mightily last season, IMO, and was easily our teams best player in the secondary. He'll definitely be missed, and I hope we have guys who are ready to step in and fill the void.

I'm looking at you, Dre.

yeah I am definitely all for going corner the first 2 rounds. I doubt we have a shot at Roby from OSU. Who are some other good CBs possibly coming out next year?

I know Kiper doesnt know it all, but he says Roby is a late round 1 guy right now. There is the corner from Oregon who is supposedly a 1st round guy. There are also 2 corners from Florida who are supposedly pretty good. This is a deep year for corner which is good for us.

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu (oregon cb) will be long gone by the time we pick. We'll probably pick up some vet CB in FA (on the cheap)...

I imagine they are looking for a cheap vet CB right now.

I hope they can find an upgrade on Curtis Marsh....... Lets hope Zim can find the CB equivalent to a Wallace Gilberry......
