I'm just as hopful as the next guy, but just because he's cleared, doesn't mean he'll actually play.

EDIT: Posted that before I read the article. It made the same point Very Happy

I know you're dying for him in fantasy too. Laughing

Well if the reports are correct, the Patriots did clear him weeks ago. So BB better not throw a curve ball and twist my panties up in a bunch. I really honestly have to admit, I was never a fan of him. Not because I think he sucks. He was always boring production to me. But I have learned not to take him for granted. So excited to see him make his return after everything we've been through this year.

Seriously. I drafted him early too, and he'll provide a big boost if he returns to last year's production. I've been winning lately, but he could make my team dominant.

He really is a key to the offense. Just him being on the field creates problems. Defenses have to double him, or he'll pick up the first down every time. In the very least, he'll open up everyone else. The offense misses him the most in the red zone though. I almost took him for granted too, until I started analyzing the red zone productivity this year. It's just horrid. The most telling sign though, was last week against the Saints, inside the 10, and they handed off 3 times and settled for a FG. That was tough to watch, knowing the best QB is the league was under center.

I refuse to celebrate until I see him spike a ball in the end-zone.

Good move. My initial reaction to the original title was thinking that NBT had started a thread about the Pats signing Tommy Streeter Laughing

This is obviously far better news Laughing

Gronk and Dobson will be a ridiculous combo on the same side

Actually agree with you, to a degree. It will take ridiculous pressure off the rookies running deep routes or outside routes having Gronk back demanding attention inside and on the seam. Life just got a lot easier for them, hopefully it shows in their play and production.
