I hate playing untested backups. While we all laugh, there's always that slim slim chance that he's a legitimately good QB.

Truth, if he can get past the rush from Hali and Houston, there will be opportunities for him to make plays

doubt it. I watched a lot of kc this year. And I that offense aint going to blow the doors off houston defense. Take away charles take away tgat crossing route and u bog them down. Houston is going to destroy fisher. If case can limit turnovers and not take 15 yard sacks it will be q cloae game all way through.

Three things may happen:

1. Case plays like Colin Kaepernick did against Chicago in his first start. Completed 16 of 23 for 246 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in a 327 win against a highly ranked Bears defense.

Or...

2. He gets a turnover early on and it kills his confidence like it did to Schaub when his first pass was pick-six'd in the game against the Niners this year.

Or...

3. Somewhere in the middle. The stadium is going to be very loud, so I don't think there's going to be a perfect game for Houston's offense. But, you never know what Case may do in this game. He could surprise us all.

Make me bet some money and I'm taking KC in this game, though. Their defense is legit and I know Alex isn't everyone's favorite quarterback, but he finds ways to win games and rarely turns the ball over. Actually kind of excited to watch this game.

Kaepernick is a stud and the Bears gave him no respect in the gameplan thinking if they could could keep him from running there was no way he could beat them through the air.

This is going to be GregbMcElroy, Ryan Lindley-esque.

and Arian Foster, this wont be good for Foster owners Sad

I too have KC D and Foster. However I think Foster will have a very good game. Case should rely on the run game and check downs, like many weak QBs do. I'm expecting a huge day for Foster.

Kaep was a borderline first round pick while Keenum went undrafted. They are nothing alike.

Nobody said they were anything alike. Ataal said he could have a breakout game against the currently ranked #1 defense in the league like CK did last year. He never said they were similar in talent level or play-style.

Dude played a great game. Was lights out, very very impressed.

Gotta give him the rest of the year if you're Houston. Can't go back to Schaub, healthy or not, now. Might as well see what Keenum brings.
