The line will improve massively with cooper coming back next year (well at least one side of it). But another guy I'm really high on is Zack Marting OT from ND, he's a little smaller LT but he has really good feet. I think he can be had in the 3rd.

A lot are thinking we will take a "BA kind of QB" but this isn't Whiz taking who he wants. Steve Keim is running the show now and he will take the best QB available if we go that route.

I like this. Though more for the wit Laughing

I'm still doing my HW on Boyd. I'm not quite sure if I'd spend a 1st round pick on him yet, especially a top 10 pick. Definitely would take him in the 2nd though.

Yeah I haven't really decided exactly how I feel about Boyd either.

One thing that bothers me is that he is too quick to leave the pocket. And instead of extending pass plays with his legs like Russell Wilson he will escape the pocket and almost always try and run it.

Boyd does run alot

Watch vs FSU this weekend, NFL caliber D, will decide if he is top 10 material.

Georgia D was young that first week, not accurate to grade against them.

Yea I've watched all of the film on him this year and he has a hell of an arm. He can make all the throws and really sling it deep (see every Sam Watkins catch). Also has a really great pocket presence and can make a bad O-line look pretty good (wink wink). The one big knock on him that could take him out of the first round is that he rarely reads the defense. Most of the throws he makes are all one read dink and dunks. He makes maybe 7 throws per game that actually require him to scan the field. So there is that uncertainty of if he is capable of reading an NFL defense.

I actually think Jameis Winston would be perfect for you guys.

Too bad he's in the 2015 draft though. Sad

Jameis would be perfect for every single team looking for a qb...

For the most part it seems like he correctly decides when to run. Also seems like Clemson has a pretty bad o-line and he is under constant pressure when he isn't making a one read throw.

Zero poise in the pocket. Makes some really stupid throws.

I'm not a fan of his at all.

I'm not sure I would be comfortable with someone named 'Jameis' on the team. It's like there was a typo and they just ran with it.

Does his name dictate how he will perform on the field?
