Not a bad team to start against if you are trying to prove yourself the #1 option.

famous last words. Giants end the game with 67 sacks, 34 interceptions. 5,678 fantasy points.

Good. We can find out if Freeman can be a stop-gap for us, or if we're taking a QB in the 1st round. Freeman is the same age as Ponder. Shocked

So long as he targets Kyle Rudolph on the majority of pass plays, I'll be happy.

The Vikes are in such a bad position right now. Freeman is starting too early, has little to no rapport with the receivers, and will struggle. The defense and o-line are playing like crap. Freeman's only on a one-year so he'll likely be gone as well at the end of the year.

Suddenly I want to see this stinker of a game! I'll be rooting for him.

Quite a QB carrousel.

I say give each a quarter to play, and whoever does the best plays the 4th. Laughing

I think they should spin the big wheel like on Price is Right with the winner going to the Showcase Showdown, I mean 4th quarter.

Too early for him to start. There's no way he knows that much of the playbook. If he has a bad start the casual fans will start calling for his head right off the bat. Not the best way to build confidence in a QB who was out right released just 2 weeks ago.

The upside is outside of starting against his own defense, Giants are probably best case scenario.

I think they have to start him now they have bought him in, see what he can do before deciding whether to re-invest in him.
