Would the trade deadline be before Sunday or after Sunday? I'm eager to see what we may pull out on this one..

Williams was McMurtry's guy iirc.

Nope, NBT

NBT's favorites were Cordarelle Patterson, DeAndre Hopkins, and Justin Hunter iirc.

This was after CP and Hunter went

Great job Bill.

Terrance Williams is the only remaining receiver who has starter potential.

So Aaron Dobson doesn't have starting potential according to NBT. Interesting.

I read that whole thread last week, as well as the 1st Round thread. NBT was...interesting to say the least.

How he is enamored with Dobson now makes no sense, considering Dobson wasn't even an option to start prior to the 59th Pick of the Draft being announced, immediately after, NBT chimes in and declares him as the new Moss.

I'm assuming that Ryan Swope would have been declared the new Moss by NBT had we selected him. I think he would have attached himself to any WR picked up who was over 5'11" in actuality.

He always liked him.

Certainly didn't follow that through in the Draft thread.

After we passed on CP at 29, he said something along the lines of: "Bill has failed every single Patriots fan tonight." even though Dobson would have been 'a steal at the end of the 1st Round.'

Dobson was a steal - talent wise - where we got him. CP is an otherworldly athlete. BB failed us greatly by passing on CP.

If CP were to be fed the ball the way Dobson has been...his stats would be >>>> .

my thoughts on dobson grew. he was a lot more polished then i originally thought.

Patterson, Hopkins, Williams, Hunter, and Dobson were my top 5, in that order. Didnt like tavon austin at al.

Screw it...time to go Nuclear!

Ridley + Blount + 1st + 4th for Peterson
Dobson + Thompkins + 3rd for Gordon
Spikes + 2nd for Ware

Let Mallett start.

....

Wouldn't be bad at all, though losing Spikes would be difficult for the run defense.

I don't know much about the Jags, but given their current situation I was looking over their DTs as possible trade options. Tyson Alualu I know was first round pick...haven't really been following his development. And the name Roy Miller sounds familiar. Would either be upgrades over Jones/Vellano/Forston?

This is based on Armstead never being able to contribute this season.

Tyson Alualu is probably the only DL they drafted that is on track to pan out. After doubling dipping for a few years and missing on guys like Quentin groves and others. I doubt they trade him but I would welcome him price pending. Other guy is unknown to me.

My impression is that Tyson Alualu, while a very solid player, isn't quite the fit we'd want in a trade. Not really a nose tackle.
