Why does Palmer only throw dump offs????

I know the Seahawks are playing prevent but he still does that a majority of the time in the first half of games.

Is his arm strength depleted already?

Every time he throws downfield he gets picked, another 2 today, going for nfl record it seems

1 of 2 ways

1 We are freaking awesome
2 he's hurt because of how bad our line is

I still don't think I'm fully recovered from his decision not to come here.

But this team needs to figure out the QB it likes and do whatever it takes to get him. Oh, and sign Jared Veldheer Cool

How bout establishing the run?

Hard to pass when the def knows its coming and can drop 6 or 7 or blitz that many each down, no variety or cunning needed there

Hey guys. I watched the game like most everyone else around here and have to say your defense is very nice. Some nice pieces. Smile

I did have a quick question though.

I wanted to know if you guys are actually planning on sticking with Palmer another year to build the offense through the draft or are you planning on getting a young stud QB?

Just curious as I am not very informed on the Cards.

Jury is out on Palmer

Without a oline capable of protecting a QB, doesn't matter who plays QB for us, dead man walking

Your guess is as good as mine. They could go left tackle, pass rusher or QB. So right now it is a definite naybe

The verdict is in on Palmer. This team is not going anywhere with him at the reins. We can still win football games with him but not the ones in January. Yes LT is still a huge need but he makes terrible throws even when he has time to throw.

If we get our LT and QB of the future in next year's draft I'll be satisfied. I'm not asking for too much right?

By my count Sowell allowed 14 pressures vs Seattle. 14. Keep in mind that Levi Brown allowed 18 total pressures in four games.

They did burn him pretty bad.

Was definately boy vs men.

Vunerable against bull rush, hadnt seen that before, but it worked time and time again.

Interesting to see how he progress's in following games, will decide his career in desert for sure.

Did Massie play at all?

Also, how hurt is Colledge other than his pride? Was abused alot as well.

Really that whole left side was well below average.

As a Giants fan I know what bad OL play looks like. Your OL might be worse than ours... and that is saying something. It is a shame your defense is tied to that offense. The defense played with a ton of heart when the offense couldn't do squat. The final score doesn't indicate that, but without that defensive effort the Cards may have lost by 4TDs.

I'm a big Fitz fan and was disappointed that one of the few games I get to see him play was when he was running around on two bum hammies. I definitely admire his toughness as well as that of Calais Campbell.

Best of luck the rest of the way.

Sowell's performance this game reminded me of Brandon Keith going up against Mario Williams in a preseason game vs. the Texans a few years back. Completely out-matched physically and didn't have the experience or technique to make up for the lack of physical ability.

Granted Chris Clemons is a load to take on, but clearly a healthy Levi would have fared much better.

He never got his feet set

His leverage was gone and he was standing too tall.

Hopefully 10 days of tape and training fixes some mistakes.

We have another 9 games to go and no replacements.....yet
