The most winnable out of the hopefully three games Fitzpatrick will have to play. Statistically they're only better than the Chiefs on offense, and are weaker everywhere else in comparison to the other opponents.

That being said their D is no slouch, and Fitzpatrick might have it a little easier, but not by that much.

Not letting Kaepernick run like Wilson did will go a long way in making this game winnable.

If we keep Wilson in the pocket our defense could probably win that game for us.

I picked us to lose to the Chiefs and the Seahawks, but I am picking us to win this game. Yes, with Fitzpatrick starting at QB. The 49ers don't really scare me and I think we can stop the run if Hill is playing.

Kaep will turn the ball over and the 49ers CBs are not as good as SEA and KC. They typically have a good pass rush, but they are without Aldon Smith.

The NFL is such a ridiculous league. Yesterday I'm rooting for the Chargers. Sunday night I'm rooting for Peyton Manning.

Also, just noticed that we share a bye with Indy and Houston. Don't really like that, not going to have much to watch Week 8. Though the fact that the Rams will be coming off of a Monday night game with Seattle while we're coming off of our bye is just fantastic.

The Titans are insisting on running Chris Johnson up the middle when he's far better in space.

Absolutely true. But saying "get him in space" is a lot easier than getting him in space. They need to be more creative and assertive in trying. And don't be so sure the calls are telling Johnson to go inside. My radio colleague Jonathan Hutton says he's told CJ is taking stretch plays and other stuff designed to create opportunity outside, either being impatient or not finding time, and taking them inside.

Marshawn Lynch is more of a Beast when it comes to what he did in the game against us..

He's basically the main reason...

Except for Edwards jumping offsides

On the bright side, probably means Zach Brown will get all the reps when we move to two LBs.

Well, lets hope we're in the nickel a lot.

Honestly, I'd rather let Bernard Pollard play MLB. Laughing

I was serious the other day when I said I'd take George Wilson at LB and as the primary Kaep spy. Sheds blocks well, diagnoses plays. Definitely would prefer him to McCarthy.

Wow your so bipolar. One week a players good, then plays and looks rusty and he's the worse player ever and McCarthy is not the only player.

I've been hard on McCarthy quite a bit here, so it's no secret I'm not fond of him, but I don't find him to be complete garbage. What I don't like, however, is Fokou, while not exactly a play maker, never really made any mistakes. Which on a defense where he has quite a few play makers around him, that's all we really needed out of our MLB.

While McCarthy brings the ability to make more splash plays, he also makes a lot more mistakes than Fokou. I'm a bit worried about how much it'll effect our defense if McCarthy can't limit the mistakes.

And you're so homer. We're even. I've stuck up for McCarthy, but not anymore, he's looked like crap for forever now. Saying he "looks rusty" is about the most laughable thing I've ever read. He was disgustingly bad on Sunday. Dude needs to stick to ST. He's no linebacker.

You calling someone a homer is laughable. I'm not sticking up for him at all but I'm not going to call a player trash after 1 bad half of football especially when they've shown in the past to be a very good player. Practicing with 1's all week and getting more comfortable will help him big time. Players like Amano, Turner, Mouton, Shaw(defense), Ruud, Harris, and Fitzpatrick are trash.

He's been bad since his very first year. Flash in the pan.
