You've got to feel for the kid, pretty classless move by Denver. Hopefully he catches on somewhere.
Like cutting say Myles White a week or so after we signed him to sign the guy we couldn't get a week earlier?

I don't think its the same as stopping a player from a roster spot where they might get playing time just to turn around a cut him to make a roster spot for a guy you know is coming back vs. cutting someone for a player we wanted but couldn't get.

After today's game. I think this move would be justified.

Why would you cut White for King?
They are nearly identical physically. White knows the offense already and has IMO shown more consistent hands and better route running.

What did White do wrong anyway? He caught a pass and fumbled on an onside kick that was negated by penalty. It was his first game up as a UDFA. Boykin wasn't too hot after the Ravens game either. And he's been here a year.

Oh no.

So for the Vikes and Bears games, we are looking at:

Nelson
Boykin
White
Quarless

as the top 4 receiving options?

Gulp.

Gulp.

A) Don't forget Chris Harper and Bostick.
B) Our running game is very good.
C) Jarrett Boykin showed he can ball.
D) Our defense is playing extremely well.
E) Josh McCown is playing QB for the Bears.
F) Josh Freeman is playing QB for the Vikings.

We'll be okay.
