Depends which bone in the foot is broken, there's about 26 down there. Weight bearing bones around the ball of the foot (base of the first and second toes) are going to have a lot more of an effect, ditto to those bones in the arch of the foot which support the ankle. But if it's the 5th toe or some other bone, might not be quite as serious.

wrong.

humans have only 1 bone in the foot. The footbone.

And this is how our medical staff diagnoses injuries.

Shame, that's makes two years in a row with lost reps and Perry needs all that he can get. Perry is not a good enough player(yet) for me to view this as the type of loss that could swing games when he is gone. Time for the the other young ones to get some work in. Doubt the grades will fall much at position to tell the truth. Perry was starting to put some things together though. LIS, damn shame!

Should be added that there is a very good chance Perry will deal with the injury bug often with that body type(many did not like that tight body on draft day). Probably a good thing in ways for the young ones to get the work in now.

Yeah the pass rush from the position shouldn't be affected too much after Clay gets back, but the run D might at times. It's more concerning for depth reasons IMO, which will largely be alleviated after Matthews gets back. Even though he's new at the position, I have full confidence that Mike Neal can get the job done.

LOL this. There are 26 freaking bones in the foot and all it says is "broke his foot." Hopefully it isn't the calcaneus, talus, navicular, cuneiforms or 1st metatarsal....or the 2nd metatarsal

What he said..

And for the normal IQ people, this sucks almost as much as Cobb's injury.. only because it wasn't nearly as expected.

So essentially anything not a Cuboid, Phalanx, or 3-5 Metatarsal. Way to be descriptive. Calcaneus fracture isn't that bad when you're on your toes all game. It also depends on the severity, placement, and type of break; and cuneiform is a script. Droppin knowledge.
