Here's what it looks like atm

Chiefs (9-0-0) Proj: 1st Seed

Patriots (7-2-0) Proj: 2nd Seed

Colts (7-3-0) Proj: 3rd Seed

Bengals (6-4-0) Proj: 4th Seed

Broncos (8-1-0) Proj: 5th Seed

Jets (5-4-0) Proj: 6th Seed

In The Hunt

Dolphins (4-5-0) Proj: 7th Seed

Browns (4-5-0) Proj: 8th Seed

Ravens (4-5-0) Proj: 9th Seed

Chargers (4-5-0) Proj: 10th Seed

With one of the wildcard spots being locked up by whoever doesn't win the West between Denver and KC it's more important than ever to win the division this year. Having said that, honestly, I still believe that whoever doesn't win the division between us and Cincinnati will get the final wildcard spot because all the teams in the hunt are just pretenders and won't be able to keep up for much longer.

We'll update and use this thread weekly like we did last year.

Unless our offense can find some magical way to start putting up points and rushing the ball well, I don't see us doing anything other than maybe slipping into a wildcard spot as an 8-8 or 9-7 team, thanks in large to our defense carrying the load.

Well, we certainly control our own destiny. We play the Jets, Cinci x2 and Cleveland one more time. Also, I think we end up around 10-6 and win the division. 2 of our losses are against the Broncos and Packers, 2 very good teams. If we can take care of business against the Steelers and split with Cinci, I really like our chances.

I think we get the 3 seed and repeat as AFC champs. Our defense is playing out of this world. Flacco is playing great. The only thing I see holding us back is the center position and I have a really hard time believing that in the next four months we can't figure out how to keep that from killing us.

With one of the wild cards almost certainly going to the Chiefs or Broncos, I think its actually more likely we either rise up and take the division, or don't get in at all.

Tennessee isn't a pretender IMO, especially not when Locker gets back. They've beaten three middle of the pack teams fairly convincingly, and lost to Houston on the last play of the game when Houston was still playing well. Then they played very competitive games with both Seattle and KC without their starting QB. Their schedule the rest of the way includes

Jacksonville 2x
St. Louis
Oakland
Arizona
Houston

All games they should be favored in.

Our schedule on the other hand is a lot tougher

-@Pittsburgh
-@Cleveland
-Cincinnati
-@Chicago
-New York Jets
-Pittsburgh
-Minnesota
-@Detroit
-New England
-@ Cincinnati

The only games we should be clearly favored in are Pittsburgh (and they will probably steal one from us anyway) NYJ and Minnesota. So the way I see it, Tennessee has a much easier road to that 6th WC spot.

We'll win our division and get back to the AFC championship as foretold by me many moons ago. These losses and struggling O-line hasn't changed my mind.
