Look when you lose not only your most explosive playmakers in the receiving corps, but also your vets who've been around long enough to know the playbook in and out and be in sync with the QB, going to the younger guys who haven't become nearly as polished route runners and targets is gonna be rough. It's gonna draw more coverage to Jordy Nelson and Jermichael Finley because of it. Think we understand now why Tom Brady was losing his cool at his young WR's cuz of this?

Also while some people may be out to grill Rodgers because his numbers haven't been earthshattering, they oughtta think of the 2009 Indianapolis Colts numbers. Peyton Manning won a lot of games that year with numbers that were sub par. and scores that weren't your typical explosive colts offense like.

I honestly don't like crazy numbers from QBs. I don't even really care about the numbers. I'm not "grilling", whatever that means. I just know what I see. I see wasted TOs. I see a lot of audibles and changes of personnel at the LOS when there isn't much time on the clock and the offenses has wasted time being a bit undisciplined. That's the Qb's job. I'm seeing him miss guys and throws. What I really hate to see are the misses in the RZ, and mostly the Pack has been throwing down there so...

And yeah, the coach seems to be getting angry in #12's direction. So it's not all in my head. When I look at the things the Pack needs to move on and improve in I see QB play as one of those areas.

As far as Wrs and TEs that excuse is getting old. Rodgers has a LOT better out there than what Brady has gotten and Brady has had far more bad routes and just plain big drops.

And the comparison to the 2009 Colts? I don't know where you're going with that. Addai was the RB and he averaged 3.8 yds a carry. More of a scat back and Peyton threw for 4500 yards. I don't see the similarity in the offenses? I just don't see what you're trying to say here.

AdamSchefter: Packers WR James Jones sprained his PCL vs. Ravens but might be able to play Sunday vs. Clev. Team will make decision later this week.

Sit the man, I want him healthy for Minny and Chicago. We can beat the Browns the same way we beat the Ravens. Pound Lacy, hit play action and play good defense.

Just like I said with the Defense weeks ago, there's nothing to be worried about regarding Rodgers.

Some of the same exact things were said during the 2010 season after the Packers were forced to change their offense after the loss of Finley and Tauscher. He's playing like usual; if not better than usual. It's the offense around him that's changed, not Rodgers.

You think the addition of a healthy Welker and Thomas didn't help Manning? Manning didn't change, the offense around him did.

If anything, both QBs are better than ever.

AdamSchefter: For now, sounds like Packers WR Randall Cobb is expected to miss two weeks.

Wow that's outstanding news from what initially looked like it might be a 4 week injury minimum.

Just the fact that none of these look to be season enders is huge.

With Packers in need of help, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Green Bay sign WR Tavarres King off Broncos practice squad.

That's true, though the Nick Perry news was not exactly a delight.

probably premature but anyone else think we may have found a gem in Jamari Lattimore? was really impressed with him yesterday

We may need him if the reports of Perry's broken foot are true. Sad Will Brad Jones be back this week?
