Maybe somebody has a voodoo doll of McCarthy and keeps poking needles into it and that's why we are getting all these injuries. Confused

what were the keywords? "brett favre creepy"?

Seriously, that is the perfect picture. Probably right after he sent a peen text.

If there's a position we can afford to miss 6-8 with a top notch player, it'd be WR. Schedule looks easier to me from here. Work that magic Packers.

Our WR depth is terrible behind the big 3. We really can't afford to have both Cobb and Jones miss time. Counting on FinFin to step up.

Bone healing time is 6 weeks minimum, even if it is non-weight bearing. And saying it's non-weight bearing really just means it's not PRIMARY weight-bearing, as in the tibia. It still has forces going through it and muscles attached to it that will pull on any point of weakness. Bone has to be stable before he can start going full-stop on it.

This is the time for Finley to really step up and become who he was during the Cardinals playoffs game. If there's any chance that he becomes that, this is it.

I agree, this is Finley's time. I think McCarthy should line Finley up out wide more now with the injuries to WRs and have Quarless as the TE in the 3 point stance.

Everyone saying it's going to take longer is spewing hate on the staff. Broken bones heal at a normal rate barring infections and can be timetables 6-8 weeks pretty conservatively. A best case of 4 weeks means it was probably a hairline or minor break

Yeah you really can't speed up healing so this has nothing to do with the medical staff.

Pretty much Finley's last chance to show he's worth what he's being payed. If he doesn't start to be a top 5 TE during this stretch, it's very unlikely he ever will.
