Their offense has been playing like balls and our defense has been dominating. BUUUUUUT, it is Tom Brady, at his house, and our second straight away game. Not to mention the fact they are gonna be hungry for redemption after last week's debacle.

Should be a good one, hope Gronk needs another week of rest.

and, judging by what this team has shown through 5 weeks I have no reason to think I'll be disappointed Very Happy

Gronk said last week he didn't wanna play against Cinci because it wasn't a "big game". So I hope we crush them, and absolutely stonewall Gronkowski, to heap on to that embarrassment from last week.

Pats are going to be looking to bounce back from an embarrassing loss last week. Brady and Belichek are going to be fired up, and they rarely lose at home. If Brees can keep up this 2 game streak with no picks, we'll win. We'll need to get the running game going early like we did against the Bears, but we'll need it to be effective in the second half this time. Hopefully we can manage to do that with no Wilfork. I'm alright with givin Gronk the Brandon Marshall treatment from last week. Make someone else beat us. We'll need to stop the run to get them to second and third and long. They'll try to be balanced. WHO DAT

I seriously hope the Saints blow their doors off like last time they played.

Here's an interesting comparison:
The Patriots O is only scoring on average 19 points per game.
Our D is giving up 14.6.
The Pats D is giving up 14.
Our O is averaging 26.8.

I didn't realize their D won the most of their games. Also Brady has only thrown for 300 once this season.

Unfortunately with Gronkowski back, those offensive stats hold a lot less significance than they would have.

"Brady is 0-3 in his NFL career against Drew Brees, who will play at New England for the first time as a member of the New Orleans Saints.

Brady's only win against Brees came just over 14 years ago when he was a senior at Michigan and Brees was in his junior year at Purdue."

"Although listed as a tight end, Jimmy Graham has caught 28 of his 37 passes when starting split out wide. The Patriots have been the worst team this season defending tight ends split out wide, allowing 85.7% of those passes to be completed (18-of-21)."

"Drew Brees has won all three games he has started against Tom Brady, completing nearly ten percent more of his pass attempts in those contests."

This game will be like watching a twin slap the other twin in the face. Teams are almost identical across the board.

Their offense is a mess right now, I like our chances.

Very interested to see how Ryan uses both Vaccaro and Jenkins in coverage on the Gronk.
