Watching a few highlights of him:

1. Has awesome hands.

2. Not a burner, just a big guy to manages to get enough separation.

I don't anticipate he'll see the field too much, but he does have a WR background.

WR Marvin McNutt Iowa was a 2012 6th round draft pick by the Eagles under Andy Reid. Well this could very well be a diamond in the rough. Studying film on McNutt he reminds me of Hakeem Nicks of the Giants a big target at 6'3" 215 lbs. with a 37" vertical jump 40-4.42. McNutt also has 10" hands and 32" arm length. Marvin has great hands and great instinct just needs more crispness in route running. A high lighted film I watched of Marvin with a reach back one handed grab was unreal. Only reason I think he went so low in the draft was do to a shoulder injury.I like where Gettleman is going with this. He is putting together Big Targets across the board for Cam. I love the fact we have Ricky (Sure Hands) Proehl teaching these receivers. Building a young strong fast hard hitting team on both sides of the ball.We just need a Head Coach who can match Gentleman's player selections. Plus an Offensive Coordinator who can help call plays for Cam. Marvin McNutt welcome to the Panthers. Learn how to pound that football. You have Superman Cam as your QB.

A lot of people on the forums really liked McNutt in the draft. Chances are he won't see the field much, if ever, but he easily has more upside than Armanti

Yeah I am a huge supporter of his and really wanted the Bears to draft him even as early as the 2nd or 3rd round that year. He got cut from the Eagles and then subsequently cut from the Dolphins, so it's not looking good for his career. It really sucks to see because he was a great receiver at Iowa, set a lot of school records my sophomore year. I lost my voice many times that year from yelling his name out at Kinnick.

Hopefully he can make an impact in Carolina, because I'd hate to see him do nothing but bounce around from practice squad to practice squad until he just fades off into the distance.
