No CB can stay with Jacoby going deep. Remember the pick TP threw against Seatle in the preseason. JFord had a step and a half on his man.
The ball was under thrown.
Teams are going to try and take away the short intermediate stuff. If Pryor can hit Jacoby deep. That will put fear into Defenses hearts.
Remember how Jacoby
1. Took a sure pick from KC24 his rookie year and then burned him deep for the win. No CB in the NFL can stay with Jacoby. But the QB has to put the ball close ... I started to say on the money. But I've never seen a WR take surefire picks from CBs the way JFord does ... he did it earlier this season.
JFord is a game breaker ... we just have to learn how to use him. |
If Tp can learn to hit the receiver in stride with his deep ball sure run jacoby on some fly routes. I just think at this point he's a return specialist and that TP shouldn't force him the ball. |
+1
Ford's skill set doesn't play to Pryor strengths. He needs bigger WRs that come back to the ball. |

No.
I don't mind him as a returner but it's obvious he's not the same player he was his rookie season. I highly doubt he's in our future plans - at least on offense. Brice Butler has been the primary slot receiver. _________________ (o◕ ‿‿◕o)// |
