I don't think it has anything to do w/ Armstead he can practice regardless of if neblett was on the roster or not.

I don't think that's the point. Neblett was there as depth in case of another injury and we literally had no DT's left. Him being cut suggests Kelly or Armstead might actually be available to play because there is no way they are going into a game with the only active DT's are in the starting line up.

Exactly. They only have Forston, Jones and Vellano now. That seems unusually thin. It's possible another guy will be brought in, but I'm hoping it means that Kelly is ready to go or that Armstead will be activated (admittedly, I can't see a reason why they'd activate him before he practices)

I saw the Cowboys cut Jay Ratliff and I got a little excited. Then I read why they cut him, and I am no longer excited.

I really hope we do something about this, I could easily see this becoming the "Achilles Heel" of this team.

If it was Armstead they'd have him practicing and then release Neblett before activating him. Why would they release him w/o even knowing where he's at to play physically?

It's settled. Sealver Siliga is the answer.

So this guy and Andre a after signed today. I like them adding depth to the position and adding possibilities. I really wish Kelly and Armstead were 100%.

Am I the only one who isn't freaking out over our DTs? The biggest issue to me is making sure that Kelly is healthy, but otherwise I'm fine with Vellano and Jones having roles on this team. Jones, in particular, looks like he may be a good one as a rotational rusher.

There was a leaked image of a Patriots draft board and Siliga was name not many had heard of but was surprisingly high on the board.

http://www.behindthesteelcurtain.com/2011/4/29/2141365/genuis-revealed-an-accidental-glimpse-at-the-patriots-draft-board

Nick Fairley - AUB
Corey Liuget - ILL
Sealver Siliga - Utah
Christian Ballard - Iowa
Jurrell Casey - USC

Was the ranking of DT's on the board apparently.
