If there is a better thread for this to go in, feel free to lock. Was wondering who they would bring in to take the place of Francois. Nixon was a guy I liked a lot in camp/pre-season. Mildly surprised when he didn't make the opening day roster.

Hopefully Brad Jones isn't out for too long, otherwise the team will be a tad thin at ILB. Anybody notice anything negative or positive about Lattimore's play?

During the draft, a comedy group interviewed people attending the draft and asked about fake prospects. Curvin Johnson is Calvin Johnson's fake brother. We drafted Charles Johnson. His name is similar and his build could make him Calvin's brother, hence he is known as Curvin Johnson.

I will disagree about signing Johnson though. I do not think that we need another active WR at this point. We may as well use his PS eligibility while we can.

Oh yeah, I think I saw him saying that when we were short a player and talked about bringing him up but I didn't know the reference. Thank you.

Not a fan of this unless he can play safety. I think he's just going to fill Francois' role on ST and nothing more. I wasn't too impressed with him during the preseason.

Surprised we didn't sign a LB. Guess that means Jones shouldn't be out long because that leaves us with only Latimore and Barrington as backup ILBs

I'm ok with this if Jones is back next week, if he's out, this is flat out dumb. Barrington and Lattimore are our only ILB's not named Hawk.

So I guess Nixon has return experience from his days at Temple. Seems to have played WR/RB/DB while he was there. I wonder if he'll get his shot as a returner.

I think they would have signed a LB if either Clay or Brad Jones were going to miss extended time.

Brad Jones has a hamstring injury. I don't know what that means anymore.

Clear cut special teams move here IMO. PUP guys just around the corner as well. Will make for an easy cut in the near future. I don't see any reps for Nixon in this backend though. Very happy with these Packers CB's.

We should just assume everyone who gets hurt has a hamstring injury until proven otherwise.

Someone is sneaking hamstring condensers into our gatorade

Speaking of the PUP, how do you see that going? With how the D-line is, I can't hardly see Worthy coming back this year. Hard for Wilson to make the field and I'm not sure Worthy does much more than Wilson at this point, especially off that injury.

I would think that we will know more about Sherrod's progress by what happens with him.

Tretter and Richardson I don't expect to make an impact.
