Quote:
Adrian Peterson's 2-year-old son is currently in critical condition in a South Dakota hospital ... after he was allegedly severely beaten by the man dating the mother of his child, TMZ has learned.

The Minnesota Vikings running back immediately left his team to be with his son.

So wrong. Thoughts are with the kid and his family.

Oh my god, that's horrible.

Thoughts and prayers with AD, his son, and his family.

Who knows, but...

It appears Peterson and the mother are not together, thus she could live anywhere.

This is absolutely terrible. I'm legitimately upset right now. My thoughts go out to him and his son. I can't imagine what I'd do in this situation since I don't have a child. If someone hit my dog, I feel like I'd kill him. It's hard to imagine what I'd do if I had a son and found out a man was beating him.

it seems like the mother lives in South Dakota where the son is.

this is my hometown, Sioux Falls. People were really excited when they found out Adrian was in town because they thought he was just relaxing, but that is just awful.

Wow..... that is so wrong. I'm so mad right now I don't know what to say. Thoughts and prayers go to AP and his family. I hope AP beats the living you know what out of the guy.

you have to think if his condition doesn't improve, he won't be playing on Sunday, which is how it should be.

i just feel sick. i kinda want to send flowers to the hospital on behalf of FF!

Can't imagine what I'd do if someone would have laid a hand on my son when he was two. Let alone put him in critical condition. No idea what kind of person could do that.

As a father, I can't imagine how he feels. First and foremost, you have to be there for your child. Hold their hand and comfort them. I hope his son has a full recovery, but there's one thing that's for certain, at least for me...if I got to the guy who did this before law enforcement did, the 8th amendment would not exist to me (specifically, the end) and things would be brutal, to say the least.

Really hope his son is alright. Can't stand hearing/seeing stories like this.

Just terrible. Peterson will kill him.

If this were a Seahawks player's child, I wouldn't care if they felt the need to sit out for months. It's not that important. Family first.
