What was the play that everybody was complaining about Buchanan being held?

It was either the TD or the play before IIRC.

Really, they lost because Jimmy Graham didn't play a whole game? Gronk, Wilfork, Talib, Kelly, Mayo, Dola anyone?

Are Saints fans saying that? He was shut down the whole game anyway

Still can't believe the Patriots won this game. Go from throwing a stupid INT to putting on an amazing drive with like a minute left and no timeouts. Love the way the defense is playing including my boy Chandler Jones. Got double teamed a lot last night, probably doesn't make it any easier that Wilfork is out either. I don't know about you guys but I think he's dominating. Maybe not stat wise, even though he has 5 sacks.

Not here to tread on anyone's toes but it seemed huge at the time. You just have to go through some of the posts in this thread to see some thought that was the end of the game effectively.

Our D has consistently [and for the majority of the time rightly so in Payton's tenure] taken a backseat to our QB and our offence. However just like your D, this season it's been them not the offense that has been keeping us in games and making plays to spark some momentum for the team/getting victories. [Stopping Falcons on 4th down | Stopping Bucs and getting ball back with 90 seconds left in Wk 2 | Hurrying/Sacking Jay Cutler for majority of 1st half last week to help us build a lead].

Nevertheless a friggin great game yesterday. Amusing how going into the game much of the story was about the QB's but for the majority of the game they were both lacklaster. Laughing
Never seen a team shut down Graham like he was yesterday. Thankfully not many teams have corners playing to the level Talib is this year so hopefully he can get back to putting up 100 yard games again. Very Happy Jones is a stud.

Hopefully see you guys in New Meadowlands comes the first week on February. Cool Wink

Found it. Play before the TD. Ended up being a TD on 3rd and 20, should have been 2nd and 30.

Oh trust me...I mentioned every single one of them...Saints fans just shrugged their shoulders and said Graham was more important than all of them combined!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

BS, with the weapons Brady doesnt have, even if they want to say Graham is better than Gronk (which as an all around TE he isnt), Gronk is still more important to Brady right now than Graham to Brees

Obviously this is going to sound homer-ish, but last night simply solidified in my mind that Gronk is better. I don't think a corner could take him out of a game like that.

I'm also pretty sure that if the defense tried that, then Brady/McDaniels would just run it down their throat. If the Pats went three wide with Edelman/Thompkins/Gronkowski, Vereen in the backfield and Hoomanawanui at TE and the defense came out with with a nickel CB on Gronk, you'd just motion Gronk back on to the line and run it every time.

So what is the injury report looking like right now? Several players went down yesterday.

Embarrassing that a Pats fan would misspell Thompkins's first name in the video description
