I know its early...

But been watching your games the last 4 weeks (including the one going on down)

And the play calling boggles my mind. Is it a lack of faith in Wilson/wrs or is the OC lacking in creativity.

I know you're missing Harvin....but I expected your offensive to be more explosive.

Bevel is the worst playcalling OC in the NFL....

Everything that made this offense hum last year is gone and were back to the garbage he called early last year.

Bevel is garbage....

Honestly thought the offense played well. Defense and the blocked FG is why we lost.

Not as well as it should have. the run game played well. The passing attack was horrible and was only successful because of the running game

Its Bev. The guy is a moron. Calls running plays at all the wrong times and sets us up horribly. No idea how the guy is a head coach candidate tbh

It seems like everything is a long developing intermediate to deep pass. We need to get our short, quick passing game going.

Bevell isn't the best OC but he isn't the worst either. Our WR's aren't great at getting separation off the line. Sidney Rice is looking great as a ghost for Halloween. He just vanishes, more like he stays vanished and just happens to materialize once a game for a modest gain. Our O-line isn't inspiring any confidence either. Russell is making this offense move almost on his own. Bevell is a hindrance, but he has also shown the ability to get it dialed in once in a while as well.

My honest opinion;

The O-Line is HORRENDOUS in Pass Protection. Everyone knows this and I think it's effecting the play calling as well. Bevell (for the most part), is way too conservative and predictable. Every once in a while, he'll call a game or two stretch very well, and then resort back to what he knows best; idiocy.

Now, with that said, Wilson hasn't looked the same either IMO. Last year, his accuracy was stellar to say the least. I'd argue he was top 3 and was dropping dimes in difficult situations on a regular basis. This year, he's been over throwing quite a bit. Don't know why, but hope he gets it together soon. Our receivers aren't the greatest, but they're not bad. They need time to do their thing and get open. 2 seconds in pass protection isn't enough for our WR Group and Russell is forced to scramble. McQuistan is NOT LT material. Bowie is a 7th round rookie. I think some of Wilson's accuracy issues are due to his hesitance with out tackles protecting him. Get our guys back and UPGRADE the O-Line MAJORLY this offseason and I'm 95% sure Wilson's accuracy is back to elite. Harvin being in the mix as well will help as his speed will help get him open earlier than Wilson is used to seeing from guys like Tate, Rice and Baldwin.

May have left out a few other points. Will throw them in when I remember.

Same way Jim Caldwell was. He's a beneficiary of the players he called the plays for.

The o-line was a joke today. (Being down three o-linemen does that) Wilson was running for his life on all passing plays. The play calling was sub par at best, it was frustrating to watch. We should have taken a few more shots down the field in my opinion. Our secondary was also on the ropes most of the second half. Over pursuit, blown coverage, wow.... I felt Seattle lost the game more so Indy winning the game. The home field calls and lack of calls seemed to favor Indy.

It's one loss. Percy won't help in any way if the defense can't stop anyone or the o-line can't block.

If Percy makes the team win games why wasn't Minnesota a winning team the past few years with him actually playing?

That's true, but if he is what is necessary for Bevell to call quick tempo/short range passes then he better get his arse on the field!
