For every pick that the Eagles had entering the draft, chose from any prospect still on the board for that pick. The rules are that you can not trade up or down and you can not use any new picks the Eagles received by trading up or down. This is all based upon the picks the Eagles had entering the draft and every player left on the board when that pick came around.

It will probably be best if you post your first 3 rounds now then just edit your post for the rest of the rounds until you eventually finish. When this is completed we can look at this thread years from now and determine if you are smarter than Andy. I know I am... Cool

1st round 23rd pick DE/DT Cameron Jordan

2nd round 54th pick DE Justin Houston

3rd round 85th pick WR Edmund Gates

4th round 104th pick RB/KR Taiwan Jones

4th round 120th pick S Ahmad Black

5th round 149th pick OLB/DE Chris Carter

5th round 153rd pick RB Allen Bradford

7th round 227th pick DT Lawrence Guy

7th round 237th pick CB Darrin Walls

7th round 240th pick OLB Cobrani Mixon

I actually think we've made three great picks...that is all assuming we're getting aso, joseph, cromartie, or pulling off a miracle trade for peterson or DRC

Cameron Jordan over Danny Watkins? Seriously? They are both first round talents. One of them becomes an immediate starter for the next ten years, the other one doesn't fit your scheme and you already have very capable players at DT which is what I'm assuming he'd play most of the time.

Justin Houston over Jaiquawn? Again they are similar in talent level but Houston would be just a part of the pass rush mix while Jarrett will either start because Mikell leaves or be the backup and maybe earn the job over Mikell.

Gates over Marsh? Maybe. Another talented pass catcher would be nice, but I think we can find a project receiver later, which is what we should really be looking at because we're so deep at receiver. I really like Marsh. That kid has major potential.

Thats because you chose to get drunk and post mocks rather than take a path that leads to coaching at a high level.

I still believe he's not a top evaluator of talent. I'm sure his director of scouting narrowed down the number of athletes he sees. Ones that "fit" what AR is looking for.

It's called CHARACTER.

Justin Houston and Jimmy Smith? What kind of message does the organization send if it drafts people with horrible character like that?

Now the Eagles took a chance on Vick, but Vick is actually trying to change his life around. Unlike Jimmy Smith and Justin Houston who are getting in trouble even right before the draft.

And just the thought of one of those guys getting Vick in trouble out to be enough incentive to keep them as far away as possible from the Eagles locker room

Yeah it's funny. Guys with character flaws or injury concerns will ALWAYS be the best value in every round. That's why they drop eg. Marcus Cannon from a mid 2nd rounder to the 5th, Christian Ballard from 2nd to 4th, Justin Houston was bottom of round 1 now top of round 3. So skimming the top off these bad apples and taking them all because they are BPA would be incredibly risky drafting.
