I can't imagine any team in the NFL wanting McKinnie. We should explore the idea of trading him to the CFL. Very Happy

McKinnie for Mike Williams straight up!

Mike Williams the tackle or Mike Williams the WR?

Does it matter? Wink

I'll take Mike Williams the concession stand employee for McKinnie.

This Mike Williams could actually be quite a steal in a swap for McKinnie.

I wonder if we'll here more about this after Sunday's game. I mean, I wonder just how actively we're looking to trade McKinnie and what we're willing to accept for him.

But trading McKinnie would definitely go a long way in being able to offer Monroe an extension. Trading McKinnie means we're no longer responsible for the remainder of his vested veteran guaranteed cash and we can throw a) Resign the Purple Boomerang Billy Bajema and/or b) use the remainder of what's left to throw into an initial signing bonus for Monroe to remain in Baltimore.

I'm also interested in hearing what the teams plans are for Michael Oher. Obviously they would probably LIKE to keep him, but I wonder how aggressive they will be in keeping him. I wonder if it'll be an Ed Reed type of, this is our offer- see if you can find better/if other offers are worth signing elsewhere... or if we even make him an offer at all.

Not that Oher's relationship with Monroe would likely have any bearing on a deal, it would be a nice plus to have both guys as close friends with somewhat of a rivalry to be the best 09 OT for the Ravens.
