The ref issue is getting way overblown. Sure, the Tate OPI might be one of the worst calls you might see all year, but outside of that they weren't THAT bad. The safety was called correctly (idk if people here were complaining about it, but I know on other forums they were, as well as my brother).
Big time mental error by Johnson though.

He should've pushed it back in. Worst case scenario they recover it for a safety anyways.

Not sure why you say that. I have much more confidence in Bowie, Bailey, or McQ at RT than I do anyone other than Okung at LT.

Lol, I decided to delete the post, but it got quoted anyways. I completely agree, first thing I said during the play...knew it was going to end up that way as soon as he dove for it.

Bailey was playing well at LT in exhibition

What are the odds of Unger and Miller being ready for next week?

I'd say much higher for Unger. Don't know about miller though, hamstrings can be tricky.

What's nice is it seems like we'll get completely healthy just in time for the final stretch and playoff/#1 seed push. Harvin and Okung should be returning in the week 9-12 range.

Only for Sherman, Wilson and Lynch to get injured, knowing our luck.

It was preseason. There's a reason we haven't put him out there, and it's not because McQ is playing awesome.

Another thing I hated was the body language of the defense.

To me it was like they knew they were getting drove on and wouldnt be able to stop them or even really tried.

Nobody brought them together to get them fired up or to get them to prove why they're the best in the league. It was like they were missing a leader. Which could happen with a young defense. But still, someone needs to take that position up in my opinion.

I've been saying this for at least a year now. The defense really needs a leader who can stand up and take over. Somebody needs to do that sooner than later.

It's also not something somebody learns. It's part of their personality. I don't think anyone on the defense strikes me as a leader. Sure our good players are who we want to be the leaders. But they really just aren't.

I don't see it anyway.

Earl has been leading by example all year. He has never had a play where I questioned whether or not he was giving 100% effort. He's just not overly verbal.
