I assume Pead takes over here. Would be nice to see Stacy.

Though I'd love to hear their reasoning as to why Pead was inactive last week and likely starts this week. If he is the best RB, why on earth would we not have played him last week?

Quote:
Daryl Richardson said via Twitter that he's not starting Sunday's Week 5 game against the Jaguars.
Richardson was asked by a fan on Twitter if he's starting this week. He responded by saying, "not this week man." On the season, Richardson is averaging just 2.71 YPC and he bottomed out with a 12-carry, 16-yard, one-drop performance against the 49ers last Thursday. It looks like the Rams have decided to bench him. The two candidates to start are Isaiah Pead (who was a healthy scratch last week, possibly for discipline reasons) and undrafted rookie Benny Cunningham. They are both worth roster spots while this mess sorts itself out. Rookie Zac Stacy has been the No. 4 back all year long.

Quote:
Isaiah Pead confirmed that his Week 4 scratch was a coach's decision.
The Rams are sticking to the story that Pead was a healthy scratch because they wanted to use Tavon Austin in the backfield. Austin ended up with no carries, while Benny Cunningham got four carries as Daryl Richardson's backup. "I knew about it. We had a private conversation and there was an understanding," said Pead. We still suspect there was some off-field discipline going on here, perhaps for a missed meeting or violated curfew. Don't be surprised if Pead is active against the Jags this week. He could play a major role with Daryl Richardson tweeting that he won't be starting.

Both from rotoworld.. Maybe Pead didn't start for something he did?

Who's the better fantasy stash, Cunningham or Pead?

I'd say Pead, he is much more likely to get receiving yards and break one off (lol, as if we have much chance of that).

Sounds like it may be Stacy that gets the haul although all actives will get some touches.

I would love to see a Stacy and Cunningham burn you down with size and then give some carries to Tavon, Pead/Richardson.

I wonder if the biggest worry with Stacy was his pass blocking, maybe he improved a good deal and is ready for a workload.

Honestly I would like the Rams to see what Stacy can do. It can't be any worse than what we say last Thursday from Richardson.

I've been stashing Stacy in my dynasty league. Got some guys on bye week so I might have to roll with Green-Ellis this week (which I'd rather not). Think Stacy might have more upside against an appallingly bad Jaguars team?

I wouldn't buy into this Stacy leading the way claim, it really has no merit behind it. The writer pushing it has nothing to back it. It's going to be a true committee approach IMO...

I'd avoid all Rams RB's in fantasy for the foreseeable future...

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep looking at Stacy as a "not until he actually puts up points" player. It was kind of wishful/not wanting to start BJGE kind of thinking.
