For argument's sake, we'll say he is drafted by Jacksonville, so you know the situation he's going into.

How successful of a career do you see Teddy B having? Will he be bottom half of the league for his entire career? Top 10? Top 5?

What? How?

Everyone knows they're the clear favorites for the #1 pick, I never once insulted them. I don't see what I did wrong.

Nothing wrong as long as we stick to football. As for the Jaguars, they've got some nice pieces in place. They drafted a franchise left tackle last year in Luke Joeckel, and despite his "issues" Justin Blackmon is a very talented receiver.

Not "elite" but a very solid starter, top 10 in the league type. In the tier of Ryan/Roethlisberger.

Would be top 5 eventually if he landed on a team with a more offensive minded coach and a current wealth of weapons in place + a tradition of placing skilled players around their QB.

I truly believe he'll be an elite QB, which is why I hate that the Jags are the favorite to get him.

And if he does go to the Jags he'll have two good WR in Shorts and Blackmon and a decent TE in Marcedes Lewis. He'll also have a franchise LT to protect him for the next 5-10 years. Give it time and, as much as it pains me to say, I think Dave Caldwell and Gus Bradley will turn it around in Jacksonville.

It'd also be fun to watch Luck, Locker and Bridgewater battle for the AFC South crown for hopefully the next 7-10 years.

I think he truly is an elite qb and will be something special in the NFL unless he goes to Jacksonville which likely will be the case Confused

I know Jacksonville sucks now, but come on. Has playing in Detroit hurt Matt Stafford? They were 0-16 before they drafted him.

The Jags have a very nice young WR combo with Cecil Shorts III and Justin Blackmon. They did just draft Luke Joeckel second overall, who can be a very good player if he pans out. Obviously they have a lot of work to do outside of grabbing a QB, but Teddy's long-term outlook should not change if he is drafted by Jacksonville.

I voted Top 5, Elite, because he doesn't come out when he sees who has the #1 pick.

Teddy took out a $10 million insurance policy. He's coming out.

That's a pretty unique situation though. Usually if the team is a dumpster fire the QB suffers for a while.
