First off, I'm not trolling for those of you in Titania that dont know my comments towards the Titans.

I expected CJ2K to have quite an impressive season. His OL is MUCH improved with Levitre and Warmack, I expected Locker to improve(and i think he has, right?)

So what am i missing? He has a long of 23 yards through 4 weeks and is averaging like 3.5 ypc. Are teams stacking the box because they dont respect Locker?

Defenses were still stacking the box. And just when we were turning the corner with our passing attack where teams were going to have to start respecting it, it looks like our QB is done for the season.

CJ is doing the exact same thing he has since he was a rookie. Defenses are preventing him from having any big plays this year and that definitely shows up on the stat sheet.

We've played 3 good defensive fronts in 4 games and our Center needs to be benched. He's terrible. Levitre is not really all that impressive either honestly.

IMHO

OLine hasn't been as good as it should be, hasn't gelled yet.

Rob Turner sucks too, horrible he is.

Also, CJ, while still good, imho doesn't have the quickness or moves he used to have. But I still expected him to get at least 1300 yards this year. We'll see.

It's clear that he doesn't. But I would be amazed if he did. He's taken an absolute beating the way we've used him. I'm amazed with the guys toughness. But he does not move the way he used to which is a shame because I think we just straight overworked him.

Small backs need to be used alot differently than the big downhill guys. And not everyone is physically made to be the 30+ carry type.

How much weight has he gained? Doesn't look that much bigger.

Honestly I think it's a rare occasion that he runs as hard as he can anymore. He played well last week, for instance, but I was completely unimpressed today.

Jets threw everyone at the line today, and asked Locker to beat them. So Locker did.

It's only going to get worse now. For fantasy purposes trade him if you can.

Doesn't help that all we do is run him straight up the gut and expect him to be Shonn Greene.

Look at what he did when he got that screen, looked pretty good when he was in space.

The guy hasn't had a clear hole to use his straight line speed in a long time.

I was all for letting him go in February. He's an amazing big play threat, but nowhere near worth what we pay him and much easier to take the big play away from him than other positions.

100% agree!!! I have to put a lot of this on the OC. I know the RB has his job to do, but when you see defense are clearly stacked up to stop CJ, it's time to get creative. We need to find ways to get the ball in his hands in open space where he'll have a chance to make plays. I still say we need to use him more like a utility RB. Let Shonn Greene and Jackie Battle pound on defenses, then let CJ come in and dice them up. Let him be a playmaker for us like we paid him to be. I'd even let him do returns like he did in college.

Historically speaking, Chris Johnson has always had a slow start. After week 4 he usually picks it up. Here's to hoping history repeats!

Against the Chiefs, Seahawks, 49ers. Not gonna happen...especially without Jake. Finally earning some respect to our passing game and now we lose our QB. Typical Titans football.
