Some backs to consider:

1960-1967 Wray Carlton
1962-1964 Cookie Gilchrist
1971-1978 Jim Braxton
1976-1982 Roland Hooks
1980-1985 Joe Cribbs
1984-1987 Greg Bell
1989-1994 Kenneth Davis
1997-2000 Antowain Smith
2001-2004 Travis Henry
2004-2006 Willis McGahee
2007-2010 Marshawn Lynch
2007-Pres Fred Jackson
2010-Pres C.J. Spiller

Fred Jackson is now the third leading rusher in Bills history. He also has the fifth most yards from scrimmage and the fifth most all-purpose yards in team history. Jackson's yards per rush among running backs is third best in team history. In 2009 Jackson's 2,516 all-purpose yardage was first in the league and fifth best all-time. He also became the first player to rush for a 1,000 yards and have 1,000 kick return yards in the same season. Jackson is known for being a hard working all-around back. He can run, block and catch extremely well. Jackson is a team captain and is often considered to be the heart and soul of the offense. He has been heavily under-utilized throughout his career.

Freddy is the city of Buffalo formed into a person. Incredible person and a fantastic player. Impossible to dislike Fred Jackson.

Lol but i use to stay at the Adam mark, does that count? Razz

In all seriousness though, i think I know where the confusion was. What I meant was, Freddy represents the people of Buffalo perfectly. Non-stop hard worker, a no none-sense kind of guy, and is genuine.

He's a beast. It's insane what he's doing at his age. As I always said with Fluie... You can't measure a man's heart. He's not the biggest or fastest but nobody is mentally tougher.

I must admit, I was against resigning him. I'm not a big believer of giving 30+ RBs lucrative contracts. He's proved me wrong.

Fred Jackson and Thurman Thomas are the only two Bills running backs to gain more than 4,000 yards rushing and 2,000 yards receiving.

Fred Jackson joins Thurman Thomas in Bills record book
