I thought it might be interesting to discuss the apparent toughness of future games at various points in the season.

For example, through three weeks several teams are 3-0, some pretenders, and some contenders. A team that we thought would be a tough test (Giants in the Meadowlands) turns out to be 0-3 and falling off a cliff. Maybe they'll pull it together later in the year? The Broncos are 3-0 and are obliterating their opponents. Can they sustain it? How many true tests will they face and when?

At this point in the season I'm most concerned about our matchups versus the Chiefs. I don't believe they are better than the Broncos, but if they believe they are contenders, playing in Arrowhead, divisional game, etc. It's the matchup I'm most interested in right now. I'm probably just having 1997 season flashbacks. Especially after how last year ended.

The game against the Colts should be a good one.

-Chiefs - curious how the Chiefs defense plays us since most Chiefs fans think they matchup so well.

-Cowboys and Eagles - curious how the defense plays with no Von Miller. I am also curious how the offense does against the Cowboys since they have defensive talent

I'm looking forward to Denver playing Washington though. I have always hated Washington and Denver destroying them and RG3 would be great. I think it will happen barring injuries on this team.

I went with the Texans. Theres no way that team is as bad as theyve played, especially in the running game. If they can run the ball effectively, thats how you beat Peyton Manning.

Not for one second am I intrigued by the Chiefs. They are a bad offensive football team. For whatever reason defenses keep playing Alex Smith like he can throw a pass deep is silly.

I re-watched the Eagles/Chiefs game, Alex Smith dropped back to pass 43 times (35 passes, 5 sacks, 3 scrambles). He threw the ball beyond 10 yards, 4 times. FOUR. Smart defensive coaches will see that on film soon. If Im seeing it, I know they are too.

If the Chiefs have 8 wins at the end of the year, Ill be surprised.

It's the Patriots of course. By week 12, they will have Amendola and Gronk back plus have worked in their rookie WR. If they remain healthy till then, this is still going to be the one litmus test of the season.

Based off of last season I'd say the Texans, Watt owned us and we got outplayed physically most of that game.

I wish the week of the opponent was included. What with suspensions and all.

Week 12 Pats is intriguing to me.

I don't think the Chiefs are even close to us, but they're confident, we play twice, and weird stuff happens in division games. That may be where we're most likely to lose a "trap" game.

Good point...I did put them in order. Can I edit a poll?

I was looking at the Chief's schedule and they have a bye before they play us at Mile High. Two weeks to prepare!!! Could be exciting...
