My favorite stat of the year so far, Stafford's QBR 99.9, Opponents QBR 70.8. Yes we give up yards but I distinctly remember the Lion's making every team look like they had a franchise QB.

Eh. So far, we've faced Christian Ponder, Carson Palmer and a recovering RGIII.

You do realize that in previous years we've made people like Matt Flynn look like GOAT players right? That was the point I was getting at, I dont care who we play the result has been a pleasant surprise from past situations.

Great point.

It's true, but I wouldn't say it's anything to get excited about. We're no longer making mediocre QBs look great, which is a step in the right direction, but I'm not sold that we actually know what we have at this point. (Our corners also seem to get slaughtered by fans during games. Is that overreaction, or is the statistic misleading?)

Maybe you don't get excited, but it's moderately exciting for me. Obviously have to temper the excitement because for us to win they do have to play better on the back end, but small improvements are welcomed especially since it never seems to work that way for the Lions.

I'm not sure they can keep this up all year, but with a young secondary one could argue it "should" only get better. Only time will tell on that one though. This season is the season I would like to see the SOL moniker disappear, I'm busting out every lucky item I have to try to do my part as a fan to help haha.

Our defense has been playing winning football. If they keep it up they'll give our offense a chance in every game. I'm a little excited about that.

Now if Fairley and Ansah can get healthy, improve, and play the entre season- I expect some even better performances down the road. With us, as always, injuries will be key. Our depth is pretty much nonexistent.

I'm all set for the game. Got the game on my 1080p monitor and I got my good luck Lion's gnome. We're 2-0 when I watch the game with my good luck gnome.

Spurlock is not that good still. He had decent blocking but just ran straight into the kick coverage.

Bell put the shoulder into Paea and blew him back two more yards. Cool

Johnson is getting open, Stafford just needs to settle down and hit him.

Stafford not looking great so far. Missed Calvin twice, even though they weren't bad misses. He needs to make those throws. (he also probably should've looked to the left side of the field on that last play)

Typical Stafford start. So frustrating.

Nice to see the Lions start by running effectively. It's to bad Stafford has started with the incompletions.
