Saw that on reddit..something like 6/1 odds?

Greg Roman does a lot of things well and I think he might make a better HC than OC, but I think we can do better tbh.

So if we lose Roman, who takes over as our new OC? Chryst?

I agree. We can definitely do better, but it all depends on what Harbaugh does. If Jim likes to have a lot of cooks in the kitchen when it comes to the offense, I'm not sure how many coordinators will be open to that. There's a good chance we hire from within, and if we do that, I think Chryst get's the promotion.

Lets say Roman does get the USC job.. would he start as soon as he gets the job or would he start at the beginning of next season?

Beginning of next season. I think that USC has to have an interim to finish off the season.

Decided to look at the odds.

Jack Del Rio leads with 3/1
Chris Peterson 5/1
James Franklin 5/1
Greg Roman 6/1
There are 8 more coaches under Roman.

Del Rio I can totally see, but I'd say Roman has the fast track after him. NFL experience and with his success, plus youth and a pretty obvious ability to deal with the media scrutiny would make him ideal for that job.

Living in LA, it's all they talk about...that and the Dodgers...and Lakers...

*sigh*

I'm considering a career switch into teaching if this year doesn't pan out for me. If I'm going to teach anywhere, it'll be in SD or SF...Two of the most beautiful cities in the world.

My cousin teaches in SD (6th grade) and absolutely loves it, I used to live there as well. If I could live half the year there, and half the year in SF, I totally would.

On the Roman subject. His experience in the PAC-12 could possibly help too. I really think he gets an HC gig in the college ranks next year, he's too intriguing of a prospect.
For his replacement....I'm holding out for Houston to fire Kubiak, and for us to bring him in as the OC. Highly doubtful we get him, but I think he can do wonders for our offense.

Not sure how things are on the WC, but over here, the good reasons for teaching are deteriorating quickly. Such a lack of respect and money to this once noble profession. My lady is set to get out soon and hit the medical field. She took her mcat a few weeks ago, and is awaiting the results. Pray

thanks! Have to figure she did well.. hoping for 30+... which would have been a snap had she taken it many years ago... but she had to re-learn so much in such a short period of time. So we'll see... Smile
