Why would they trade him? They found a gem with him in the supplemental draft. He looks like a player to build around for the future.

Maybe they think they can get some good compensation.

I think with the potential of both of our draft picks being very high, we hold onto them.

He's one positive test away from missing a substantial amount of time. We also have Quick, who I don't see Fisher ready to give up on yet. No reason to grab him really.

Lee will be good, no doubt. I don't see why the Rams would draft him either. Given, Lee, Austin, and Cook would be a lot of speed, but the only big target would be cook. In the red zone we would most likely still have trouble.

You dont need size to score in the RZ. Plus Lee is a big target with his radius, he can get UP. I doubt it happens though which hurts my heart but i understand the logic.

If we didn't have Quick, maybe, because anybody is a replacement of Pettis, but I believe in Quick developing into a good receiver. He might not be anything better than good, but I'll take good with Givens, Tavon, and Cook on the field with him.

Let me get this straight. A WR who had no drops and the only TD of the day is worse than one who only caught 1 ball out of 2? Quick is not "good" he is average with great potential. Pettis isnt flashy but he is solid. Not ideal #1 and he was more effective in the slot, but he is the only SURE handed WR on this team. Even Givens had 2 drops.

I didn't say he was good now. I said I believed he would develop into a good receiver. The sky seems to be the limit for him, but I would settle for good. Even if Pettis was the best receiver today, that doesn't mean much. He's probably the 4th best WR on the roster, and Gordon is much, much better than he is. But if Quick develops than it's pointless to have Gordon because one of him, Givens or Quick would be the 4th WR, a role much better suited for Pettis or even Stedman Bailey.

Screw Quick, he gives us nothing. Josh Gordon is a legit #1 WR in this league, we need someone like him desperately. I get he comes with a lot of baggage, but we need to take a risk. Gordon would be great with complimentary pieces like Austin, Givens and Cook. A #1 WR is still a huge need and Gordon fills that.
