We need some balance. The defense has done us proud. The offense has not been as good, but has gotten the job done.

[quote]Our pass rush has come a loooooooooooooooooong way, that Eagles OL isn't a slouch either.[/qupe]

The Eagles OL is good. FBO had them #4 through 2 weeks. With all the rushing yards, they will probably not lose much.

I use this as a reference that our OL ranked top half through 2 games.

The whole offense was #6

I think this is the week where the offense "catches" up to the defense. (At least for one week). The Giants defense looks horrendous so far this season. They aren't doing anything right at all.

Yeah plus our offense has statistically improved each week.

Our offense has been longer working into playing form. The rough edges are starting to wear off. It will not be high octane, but they should be solid.

The defense made #1, but the offense is still top half, at #14.

Whats crazy to me is this.

We might be ranked #14 which in truth isnt that bad at all but man it doesn't feel like we are that good when I watch the game.

That is the nature of a grinder. It is rarely exciting. This is the most consistent offense in the NFL this year.

I may not agree with you about consistent offense. Peyton manning scores a TD almost every drive.

Jamaal Charles had his usual massive fantasy day, leading KC in both rushing and receiving while breaking the plane twice. Charles has now gained 100-plus scrimmage yards and found the end zone at least once in every game this season. He's on pace for 2067 total yards. Alex Smith's checkdown-ishness may not be a desirable real-life trait, but it's a boost to Charles, fantasy-wise. The lone concern with Jamaal entering the season was his usage near the goal line, but that's clearly no longer a worry just check the distances on his TDs. Achievement unlocked. Much appreciated, Coach Reid.

If I'm Reid I'm blitzing like crazy at practice. Work the OL and leave 1 WR open, make Alex find the open man under heat.

May sound dumb, but there were open targets against the Raiders, we just struggled finding them. This D can carry us, but it's time for the O to put someone away when the D gives them opportunities.

An incredible stat.

An incredible stat.

Especially when you consider that three times the other team scored first.

FBO has the Chiefs at #18 again.

JC is on pace for just under 1300 yards and 13 TD on the ground, over 750 yards and 4+ TD receiving, 2000 total yards and 18 TD. Yes his YPC is down, but he has been a monster.

It's even more incredible if you think about how long it took us to even get a lead last year...

Megatron had more yard today than Bowe has had the entire year.

Side note, I think I'm subconsciously pessimistic.
