I'm kinda disappointed in Barner, he had these three first games to prove himself to see how well he could acclimate to the NFL, but he couldn't stay healthy. Has anyone heard anything about Stewarts progress? Will he be ready to play come game time in Arizona?

Trust me I don't fault him for not playing. On paper it is a minor injury he has (his big toenail) but in reality extremely painful.

I like this kid too. I hope he can get on the field soon.
I had the same toe thing and I could barely walk. They had to remove my toenail! Yuck! On a different note, we looked awesome today. I also read the Browns are shopping Josh Gordon? 6-3 225 lbs, big, strong, young WR. Chud has ties to us? Do we have the inside track on a sleeper star wideout on the cheap? Shocked

Williams was great today, really good against the Bills too. If it wasn't for his fumble against Seattle, I probably would've professed my love for him already Laughing

If we catch a couple lucky breaks, I think we could turn this into back-to-back shutouts. Don't think we can make it 3 in a row though, the Cardinals probably score a few points on us.

We play the Cards next.

Right. But we have a good chance to shut out the bye week.

still cant believe we were missing five starters and had a shutout.

(thomas, dwan, beason only played one snap, mikell, godfrey... and technically mitchell is our backup SS but he moved to free for lester)

pretty crazy. are the giants just that bad? they didnt seem to have trouble slinging it the past two weeks. and they were only missing david diehl who is garbage anyway.

I don't recall seeing Alexander out there too much either. Saw Addison a lot late

Was anyone at the game yesterday?

I watched it in a bar in New York and it looked like there were more people in the bar then at the stadium? Do the tickets not sell out? What is the story here?

Well, that was amazing. I don't think there's one thing that I can criticize about our performance, both playing and coach. As bad as Rivera has been, he was that good today. Shula's offensive playcalling was great. Everything went right for us. I'm glad we carried this type of win into the bye, hopefully we can string a few together.

Lot of empty seats from the TV view.

I've been saying the same thing all season. It's nothing new for me.

About time people started hopping on the DeAngelo wagon! That fumble was killer for sure, but he's been effective all season long being the guy. It will be interesting to see what happens when Stew returns in 2 games.

I think they need to stick with what is working and that is Williams. Stewart can hop in like most back up RBs do throughout the game, but I don't really want to see split carries as long as Williams is going to be running like that.
