Goodell usually comes down with a punishment a little before training camp, so will we start camp by the 25th? If not, he probably waits but Clayton expects a 3-6 game suspension. Hopefully it is the former and closer to a three game suspension. Our schedule really picks up after that so we will need him around week 5 or so. Sucks that he will likely miss the Cowboys game.

Sucks that what could end up being Smiths downfall is something that's legal in 48 other states.

Sucks more that it's legal anywhere in the country.

To own a gun without a bullet button? Not getting into politics here, but he has guns that were legally purchased in Arizona and 48 states don't think twice about. Same gun is legal in California with a ten cent part that does nothing. Literally. My point is everyone is thinking he did something terrible, but 90% of the people who live outside of California don't even know its illegal in California. Google bullet button. I had to explain to my 76 year old dad about the bullet button and capacity magazines when he came or he could be serving time for the same thing. Hardly a thug. But ignorance to the Cal State only laws isn't defensible in court.

And my post was saying that that crime is the biggest charge, where the real irresponsible things he's done, like DUI and airport tirade probably will get him nothing but a slap on the wrist. Not starting a gun control debate.

I'm fine with this post, but let's (as a forum) not get too much further into the issues of gun control/gun laws.

I understand why he'd question Harbaugh about his "above reproach" line, but he really goes at him in the most obnoxious way possible. Did he really think poking at Harbaugh would get Harbaugh to give him the answer he was hoping for? It was pretty unprofessional by Kawakami.

I feel that sometimes he has some good points but most of the time it seems like he tries too hard to get his 15 mins of fame.

I think he's a good reporter who's frequently frustrated sexually. When that happens, he tries to hammer a nail no one really cares about for his own amusement.

Kawakami has always been a bit of a jerk. If he was trying to embarrass Jim, he only ened up embarrassing himself.

Kawakami is so annoying. He's mad his so called sources were certain Aldon's option would be declined and now he's trying to bait Harbaugh.
