The DC isn't a problem yet. We do not have enough quality players on either side of the ball to be calling for coaches to be replaced.
QB, WR (x2) and TE all need to be upgraded.
DL, LB and Secondary all have issues and need better quality.
This is a rebuilding process. Key word here is process.
All the people that thought we could be successfull right out of the gate were dead wrong. It's incredibly hard to win while replacing all of the coaches, all of schemes and a lot of the players. Be patient and understand this is a 3-4 win football team and we are shooting to be better over the next two seasons.

if this a rebuilding process why the hell did we re-sign vick?

The eagles went into this season too wishy-washy and it has hurt them badly. We are terrible.

Must have got caught up in the hype that Kelly would come in and make this a top 5 offense overnight (forgetting the fact the defense was atrocious)

I feel like our forum is going to be extremely divided by this debate for the next several years....

Lack of talent is one thing, but when the defensive co-ordinator amplifies these problems by not playing to their few strengths and also playing terrible schemes and decisions.

This defensive coordiantor is the antithesis of everything he said that he would be. He has been totally figured out by the NFL and the fact that Curry doesn't get enough snaps when pass rush is a weakness proves that he is in over his head and is no better than Juan Castillo.

So given our third loss in a row, and an embarrassing one at that, what changes need to be made to our starters.

For example, do we look to change our offensive line. The scary thing is:

So far this year, with everybody relatively healthy, they’re allowing 3.5.

Is this a product of the offensive line not being as good as it was expected to be, Vick getting old or the playcalling?

Coverage sacks? I don't know how to explain this.

He said he didn't care about yards, but TOs and points was what mattered. First two weeks we got the TOs, an the two previous weeks we faced Alex Smith & Peyton Manning.
But yeah this underneath crap is killing me.

Vick holding onto the ball too long, WR's struggle to separate, and the Toddfathers huge regression are the main reasons why the O-Line has struggled. Could be a long year there.

The second one is the killer. Why don't the coaches recognise it and do something to stop other teams running man coverage?

Why has no one brought up NT? Without a proper NT the 3-4 fails. We can't get any pressure from our 3 up front.

I brought it up a couple of weeks ago in the draft thread. It was mocked since apparently we don't use the NT enough.

Vick holding onto the ball is a result of the WRs not getting separation. OL have to hold their blocks longer. no brainer. Granted some of the sacks have been OL getting beat early.

One thing we could do that I'm surprised Chip hasn't done more is do what other teams do to us....bunch up the WRs so they can't press and lots of rub/pick routes. NE/Denver that's all they do.

If they're playing man just run our receivers deep and attack them underneath with Shady and our TEs. The thing about man coverage is that it allows you to move the defenders around and create space.

The lack of adjustments on offense has definitely been sort of strange.
