Florence resigned. Thank god. I thought he was our best CB to begin with. Thomas and Florence should be starting with Munny playing slot-guarding Cruz this Sunday. Florence is big and Thomas plays aggressive so they match up better with Nicks.

Needed to be done. Still wish Gamble was around, though.

Too bad we couldn't have kept Gamble around and let Florence be our #2 with Capt, Norman, and Thomas spliting the load in the slot with nickel and dime situations.

This would have been ideal, we would have been 2-0 instead 0-2

Gamble and Florence together would have been a solid combo. I have high hopes for Lester too. He has good size for a safety

Potentially, we were hurt on late TD passes in both games that could have been prevented with a more experienced player, especially in the Bills game since the DBs got confused on their position.

However, if our offense had not been as inept in both games; a story could be said from that perspective as well.
