This is not going to continue, Trent could bust one and then be on fire for the rest of the year. I really think he is one of the most talented backs in the league.

I really can't understand how anyone would have that opinion anymore. He is obviously quite strong and has the low center of gravity that made a guy like MJD so useful for so long but his vision and burst are just very mediocre and neither have improved much since he was drafted.

As for Cedric Benson, people forget how good of a prospect he actually was. His and Trent's situations are very similar. Nobody really wanted to accept that Benson wasn't very good for quite a while either.

Richardson's burst and vision was already elite when he came out

His vision certainly isn't elite anymore.

Thats because it never was. You'd have to be Blind or have cataract in both eyes not to have seen the holes Bama's oline were creating. Just saying.

It's an old cliche, I know, but in this case it's 100% through.

You and I could have run through those holes. You could have driven an SUV through some of em. That Bama O-line was blowing people so far off the ball you'd have to have no legs to not gain 4-5 yards a clip on it's worst day.

In his rookie year he was expected to prove how good he could be amongst the elite backs, and now in his second year he's playing to prove he's not a bust.

I still cant believe we got a first for him.

If his name was not Trent Richardson there is no way we got even a 4th rounder for a player that does what he does.

Trent didn't even have good vision or burst coming out, much less elite. His biggest selling point was his small, thick frame coupled with his strength. People seen what guys like Ray Rice and MJD brought to the table and thought Trent would be the same player or an even better version of this.

Might be time for a upgraded Sig there hornby given what's transpired the past month. Man what a difference 12 months make in retrospect. Cool

Ok, I'm going to break it down to brass tax, and people will probably laugh but whatever, idc, truth is, in evaluation when I saw T-Rich, I saw a player who looked and played identical to Marcus Coker at Iowa. I remember asking why Coker was producing the same or better as T-Rich at Iowa and was repeatedly told he was a product of the OL (pot...kettle). The biggest difference I saw in the 2, was that T-Rich was a better pass catcher and blocker, but I saw better vision and burst coming from Coker, even tho T-Rich had supposedly elite speed.

why TRich is still a cornerstone. His great ability to land the Browns a 1st rd pick is going to go a long way for the browns lol

Whenever I think about TRich, I cant help but think about "Touchdown" Tommy Vardell

Why did I know this thread would be bumped after the one catch he had?

As you can see I have done that. Players that I have had in my sigs don't tend to work out to well.
