Just a Browns fan coming in peace. Brian Hoyer has been named the starter this week for the Browns. I was just wondering if any of you could lend some insight in regards to how Hoyer plays and what to expect. Positives and negatives if you could be so kind. Thank you.

Peace!!

We've only really gotten good looks at him in preseason and the second half of one meaningless week 17 game. You'd be better off asking the Cardinals forum.

Very average. I think he understands and knows where his plays are. That helps but he's just very average in terms of everything else. He looked good again SF in the finale last year although there was a lot of bad with it too.

Sheesh he's 27 years old? I figured he'd at least have youth on his side.

Turns out that wasn't accurate.
