With Goldson now missing the game our defense is gonna take a hit.

If Gronk sits out I actully don't think we will have "too much" of a problem with their offense. Even if he does play the other weapons Tom has shouldn't give us any problems. We should clog their run game down and if Danny comes back Revis will take him out of the game.

Our running game seemed to be rolling last week. This week will be a bigger challenge but I expect Doug will get his.

Jackson should be able to beast against Talib.

Again whether we win or lose will come down to our franchise qb Sad

Fingers crossed Goldson gets his suspencion lowered to a substantial fine, but with 15 PF penalties since 2010 I doubt that happens. Regardless, we should win, like the first 2 games. Our D is too good. Freeman just blows and knows he is gone and it shows on the field. If the Pats still look like they did last week we should win. But who knows with all the tension supposedly going on in Tampa per likely inaccurate reports.

My prediction:

11 first downs

10 penalties

2 interceptions

1 fumble

6 three-and-outs

1 confused quarterback (guess which)

1 loss

We should really just start Glennon. Freeman is getting worse and I think part of its cuz he knows Schiano doesn't like him and he will be gone after this season. Glennon couldn't do worse and we would know what we had. Schiano just can't lose the team in doing this too early. Look for Glennon to start week 6 after the bye.

We loose by 4 as Brady throws a TD in the last 40 sec of the game to go up by 4. Freeman gets the ball, hits a strike to VJ for 30 yards and goes down on the 50. Freeman spikes the ball with 23 seconds left. Freeman goes back to pass and throws a perfect interception to Talib.

Freemans stats for the day: 11/29 105yards 1TD 2INT

Saints forum has a week to week pickem going. Just wanted to give you guys a little confidence. Looks like a little over half of us have you guys beating the Pats. Your secondary is just nasty, and Brady is slowly running out of passing options. I have you guys winning by 4.

Good luck guys. Your defense WILL win you some games, despite what Freeman does to lose it.

Despite the vote(s) of confidence, I don't like our odds. I think we'll lose by double digits. Something like 23-10.

As much as we roughed up Brees, Tom Brady is coming off the worst game since, sheesh, who knows, when????? Maybe Ever?

NO way it happens two weeks in a row.

Pats 24-10]

EDIT: I'm actually nervous to watch this game. Brady is ticked the way the season has started. He could go off big time.

To make matters worse, Goldson is most likley watching from home.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/09/17/gronkowski-closer-to-doubtful-than-questionable/
Quote:

As we hear it, Gronk remains closer to doubtful, which under the NFL’s injury reporting rules means he has a 25-percent chance of playing. (For each of the team’s first two games, Gronkowski officially was listed as doubtful.)

I like Buccaneers on this one. Bucs defense dominated Saints most of the game. Imagine what they will do to Patriots backups. On offense Martin needs a good game. Freeman just need to play like he has been playing and not get any worse.

20-10 Win

If he gets hurt just 1 more time this season he is either getting cut or taking a paycut
